  1. No I'm not - I think the price is ridiculous. Another thought - do the z31t axles have to be from an lsd car or can they be from any 84-89 turbo car?
  2. Thanks Jon - yeah I treated all that stuff as part of the 'hub' portion. Are those 280zxt nuts available at any auto parts stores.
  3. Ok so I'm not a moron - I just don't operate well without pictures. There are a ton of vocabulary words thrown around here that everyone seems to know but me. The plan is for an open 3.9 R200 out of an 87 NA Z31 with an OBX LSD. I have no problems with the differential stuff. What I can't figure out is the name of things from the diff to the rear hubs. Here is what I'm assuming I will need to make this happen: Follow in order of assembly from diff to hub R200 - Z31T axles - MM CV conversion package (aka companion flange) - hub - MM 5lug stub axles (not necessary but have all Cobra brakes/wheels) Am I missing anything? I feel like I'm missing something inbetween the axles and the R200. Thanks guys Nick
  4. This was the day I got her (Nov 26th) She is now about 5 months old: I live in St. Charles Terry
  5. Quick question - on the valve covers - there is a sticker that says built at the Cleveland motor plant. Everything I've seen on the internet states that the Cobra's came with 302's from the Windsor plant. What am I missing here?
  6. Anything I can possibly use for the Z is going to make its way over. I bought a completely stripped Z - no gauges - no interior no nothing. So I'm going to use as much of the Mustang as I can. Everything else I'm going to part out and try to make my money back. (I only paid $2k for the Mustang :hides:) I've already ordered everything I'm going to use to mount up the motor/tranny - JTR radiator is on the way too. The Mustang could be fixed - but it would take at least $3k to do so and in the end it won't be nearly as fast as the Z. The front radiator supports are completely fubard and the driver side needs pulled a little on a frame jig. Was able to do some work on the car tonight - 55deg here in St. Louis Pulled the upper intake manifold and intake hose off. Played around with disconnecting some wiring. There is a whole lot of stuff in this engine bay I don't know jack about - I'm coming from little Honda/Nissan 4 banger world. So I'm gonna hold off for a bit on top of the engine until my Mustang FSM gets here next week. Next is to remove the exhaust and figure out the best way to hook onto the motor/tranny to get it out. Oh yeah and to drain all the fluids/ac. This Saturday will be dedicated to the Z06 (www.corvettez06.org) as we get it ready for the Solo2 National Tour season - so hopefully its warm this weekend
