Hey jimmy , what size tires are you running on your RB's ?

I paid $400 for an entire car 82 automatic with 116k miles .. Wasn't running but I'm doing a full build nothing really stock except the obvious , block /internals/ exhaust manifold and a few other items. Just look around I say not running but it ran on propane

I think that's what I'm going to do. What's the going rate for a C-stamped cam? It has a little corrosion on it but nothing major (I don't think) Thoughts?

Thanks for the input guys..I don't plan on doing any headwork right off the bat so I've got some time to decide what exactly I want to do..that will also give me time to save some $. I will be running my SDS engine management, this build is not bare bones by any means so I don't mind spending the money for a custom grind cam and stiffer springs and other goodies. I've heard from a couple sources that it is good cam for turbo applications "if you can find one" and I just so happend to stumble across one for a old deal that's why I picked it up and here I am regretting it ..oh well :/ at least it was cheap :0

I recently picked up a 260z c-stamped "Nismo " camshaft. I am building a l28et and plan on bolting up my p90 head. As I read about swapping an early camshaft onto a later head i realize that I need to get a spray bar from an earlier head to lubricate the camshaft. And I can't help but wonder, is it really worth the trouble to use this cam? I can't seem to find any numbers as to how much this camshaft will benefit my turbo engine. Any help is greatly appreciated ! Thanks -Brad

I have a set of 16x8 +0 offset rota RB's in gunmetal gray on my z and I will soon be painting and adding flares. Therefore I need some wheels to fill them out. Looking to trade for some 16"-17" wheels 9"+ wide with a negative(-) offset. I haven't purchased flares yet so I'd be willing to go wider wheels and get some wide zg flares if the opportunity arises . Otherwise I'll stick with regular zg's . Willing to put cash/z parts on top for the right wheels. My wheels have no curb rash or damage. Looking for wheels in the same condition Thanks hybridz

I have a MS relay board and injector harness id be willing to let go if your interested. It has pigtails for Mitsubishi 390cc injectors , ka24 60mm throttle body converted and a few other sensors I believe ..I'll try to grab some photos this week

Zforceproductions makes a 3 gauge pod that mounts where the center air vents mount in the dash..I have seen an A pillar gauge pod around somewhere but I can't recall who sells it

I used a product called "peel n stick" bought from Home Depot for 16.99 a roll, used about 3-4 rolls for my 260z. I first applied POR-15 after scraping off the original sound deadening and then applied the peel n stick. Ill see if i can dig up some photos

I ended up having to get a pair of spacers for the rear, wheel was hitting the caliper by about 2mm. Threw some 1/4" spacers on there until I can find some brake lines . I didn't realize that the calipers won't accept standard seated brake lines.

Jmortensen- what MC/booster/proportion valve did you run with your brake setup? I've got a 1" and an adjustable proportion valve on the way. Not sure if I should upgrade the booster as well.

I am a professional painter with years of experience in multiple types of paint and paint sprayers. I wouldn't recommend wet sanding the basecoat. If you are using basecoat-clear coat I would make sure that your primed surface is completely clean of all imperfections (hard sand scratches/trash in primer/pinholes from filler ect... Use a tack cloth to clean settled dust right before you apply basecoat ( be sure that your basecoat is reduced properly or else it will not spray right) wait approx 10-20 mins between coats (2-4 coats should be enough unless its a transparent color) Once the basecoat is tacked off you can begin applying clearcoat ..first tack coat 25% overlap the following coats 50% overlap . Norman V- I am running the Techno Toy Tuning coilover setup. But the guy I bought it all from did not section the strut housings for the short stroke strut inserts. So that is next on the list

I have 16x8 0 offset Rotas . They clear my z32 calipers up front Got it all mocked up, found some longer bolts for the bracket-hub, now off to find some bolts for bracket-caliper. And to dig up one of my missing stainless brake lines

Should I just go to the hardware store and get some grade 8 bolts with lock nuts?

I bought this rear brake setup from a guy on here, and this was what the kit came with, rotors/hats, caliper brackets, calipers, pads.. and no mounting directions..but the install looks pretty straightforward. My question is what should I use to mount the calipers to the brackets? There are no mounting bolts(that I know of) Any help is appreciated

What do you mean by Separation from the rear window? I did it for looks, If was looking for downforce I would go with a ducktail or something similar. I used a rear window spoiler from a 350z, I had to cut 5" out of the center and fiberglass the two halfs, it uses double sided tape to hold it to the glass. I just have it mocked up in the above photo. I can post more once I get it finished
