  1. Well after thinking and looking at the tank it would look a little "hokey" as Dan so elequently put it. i can make it look good with the tank being there and using a heat shield but i would look great if it wasn't. I am thinking Fuel cell in spare tire compartment. Any one know the prices of fuel cells. If too expensive i can live with a little bit a muffler showing. or maybe i could get a rear valence to "extend" the length to hide the muffler better. I would want it to have the same stock shape just longer, anyone know of one. Thx, Josh
  2. Yeah the guy told me to throw them in the trash! what a dumbass. The mechanic had a 280z but it was fuel injected so i think he doesn't want put them on because he is to lazy to learn how to tune them. My friend works there and thats what he said about the guy. Its always great when people dont really know what they are talking about but act like they do anyway. Well thx guys i knew sun belt was going to be the way to go, the best as they are. Now all i need is to fresh'n up the suspension and ill be set. Thx, Josh.
  3. I just bought triple mikunis for tod walrich and iam haveing a bit of a hard time finding someone who will set them up and tune them down here in georgia. I had one guy tell triple mikunis were junk! hahah. the only place i havent talked to is sunbelt performance engines. so if any one knows a place in georgia, i live north of atlanta, that will set up my carbs that would be great. Thx, Josh.
  4. I have a 74 260 and i just bought tripple mikunis, msa 3n2 headers and twice pipes. Instead of running the muffler Through the stock location, the back left, I wanted to run it strait out the back. so the muffler will be in the middle of the back like an old ferrari or tr6. The gas tank is right there so i was wanting to know how close i can run the muffler to the tank. Thx, Josh
  5. I run the normal su's and after i had the car in the garage for about two years the carbs would flood just like yours. After the damn needle valves don't have gas running throught them for about a year or so get stuck open. It sounds like you ran the car enough th push the needles down but i would have taped just to the right of the wing nut where the brass bolt is. I bet the whole car smells like gas. I couldn't put the car in the garage for a week. Glad you got it running, I want those webers...damnit! Josh.
  6. I was looking at the engine in Dick Goodman's 1962 Ferrari 250 GTO Replicar and i wanted to know where he got the valve covers, tripple carb manifold and the air filter cover. i have a 65 corvette 327 just like his. i have tried searching the internet for the tripple carbs but haven't found them. if anyone knows where i can find this stuff it would be great. Thx,Josh
