  1. No I sat there and waited for it to cool down enough to start it, about half an hour or so.
  2. It is stock, I checked the coolant level after getting it home and letting it cool down completely. It was at a normal level. I replaced the thermostat about 2 months ago. So is it possible my radiator is plugged up?
  3. Today I was driving my 78 280z, it was around 91 degrees outside and I stopped somewhere shut my car off and came back a few minutes later and it wouldn't start, the temp meter was almost 3/4's of the gauge. What can I do to prevent this from happening again? Any help is appreciated
  4. Around how much would I expect to pay to get it installed? Also does the kit bolt onto the stock exhaust manifold?
  5. I'm going to be buying the twice pipes kit from msa in a few weeks and was wondering if anyone knew what size the piping on the kit is because it didn't list it on the website. Thanks!

  10. I've done some searching and can't seem to find an answer. When I bought my car it had no emblems besides the one on the hood, I'm about to buy some new ones and was wondering where they went? And also what adhesive should I use? Thanks!
  11. Thanks! I've got to get a FSM, right now I only have a Chilton's repair manual
  12. So I've got a 78 280z and I finally got it running and I drove it and the turn signals will only turn on if the light are on. Has this happened to anyone?
  13. I just put new plugs in to see if that would solve it but nothing. I did use starting fluid and it did start after a while but I immediately shot it off because the throttle body caught on fire lol
  14. I've got a 78 280z, its getting fuel and spark but won't turn over. I replaced the battery ground cable and it cranked faster but still won't start. Its missing the fusible links, the box I have is for the ACC and IGN but it just has straight wire to both. Does anyone know why it won't start?
  15. Do I use a red and a black or two blacks?

  18. Just any would do? Are there any specific I need?
  19. Where would I get new ones or used ones? And what do they look like
  20. These are the wires my brother was moving around that got it to start
  21. I just bought a 78 280z 5 speed and the P.O. said he used it as a daily driver until it stopped turning on. I bought it for $700. When I tried to start it with a good battery it wouldn't turn over. My brother messed with these two blue wires in the picture and it turned on. I'm sure these aren't supposed to be there and it looks like there used to be something next to it. Can anyone tell me what was there before? And what I can do to get it started? I used some starter fluid and it turned on for a second.
