still looking. the gasket i had was actually 2+mm w/ 90mm bore. the motor i have is 86mm with flattops so i need the drop in compression. if anyone's got anything so i can save a few bucks would help greatly!! thanks again.
thats really a cool piece, but might be hard to use for most lhd applications. .. it's kinda hard to tell, but actually the more i look at it It looks like it might position the turbo up and outta the way of the box steering for a LHD, no?
yea that would be the best way. i was trying to figure out a different way of doing it, then using a spacer.I wanted to try and use my bigger turbo with the old box steering. the cold side only hits the manifold by like 1.5 mm, but it doesn't clear the box anyways . Never mind a spacer. So i will have to stick with the stock turbo till i switch the motor in my 82' chassis with the R&P. Im gonna just use a small spacer to conserve space and route a separate pipe off at 45deg below the turbo for a W/G. It seems to be the consensus versus the big spacer with the 90deg w/g hole.
Hey everyone. just putting this out there. IM looking for a 280zx coupe (prefer 5 speed but not a must).with a clean body. no rust issues please. paint not important. i have 2 that are rusted 1 isnt worth fixing at all IMO and 1 is gonna take alot of work. i already have a mortor set, i have 2 clean interiors. i have a good hatch/lights and even fenders and doors if yours aren't too good . i have a half way decent hood so i would be willing to go w/o that too if i had to. just need a good solid shell .T tops a plus!!! . i dont have a million dollars. just seeing whats around me so maybe i can finish my car. i havent driven it in over a year. ive seen plenty of good deals but most are too far for me. let me know by PM- thanks-Ben:mrgreen:
