  1. Is there anyone in the Bay Area that can assist or help me with my wiring harness? I basically have an rb26 and s30 harness that needs to be modded up. Or anyone have any suggestion on shops that can do it for a good price? Please lemme know if anyone can help, we gotta get more of these babies on the streets!!! Thanks
  2. Sounds good guys... still trying to debate though which one will be better to go down the long run. I just wanted to ask because i found one for sale for 100 bucks. But the original plan was to go with an external fuel pumps and a surge tank. Anyone have any opinions on either setups..? I know its also going to depend on what kind of driving, but lets just say for daily driving for now.. ;D
  3. Im not sure where i saw this before, but i think it was in a magazine and somewhere else that i saw someone use a z32 tt fuel pump with their rb26 swap. Does anyone know anything about this...? I tried searching in the forums and no luck in the RB thread. Just curious bc i found one for sale... Lmk guys... thanks!!!
  4. Hey they doesnt sound like a bad idea either... plz lmk more!!!
  5. If anyone has a rb25det that they are trying to sell or want to sell, please let me know... thanks
  6. Um i called them before... and they actually gave me a really good price for a rb26 w/ rb25 rwd tranny shipped to my house. But i never got back to them bc i decided to finish the whole car first so that all i had to do was plug and play when i got the motor. That way i can sure the motor works within the 30day warranty. Give them a call, they are pretty cool.
  7. it actually looks like a CLSD to me, but i'll try to post pix up to show you guys... I actually picked up some z31 turbo axles, i'll try to do some research and see if those will work.
  8. I pretty much came up on a short nose r200 from an R32 GTR for free, any chance anyone knows what kind of axles i could prolly use with this setup for my 240z or if i can?
  9. So im basically in the process of doing a swap for my 240z with an rb26dett. I ran into two r200 diffs. Basically one is an 87 z31 turbo automatic r200 and the other is an 88 z31 turbo SS r200. Any of you guys have any experience with these diffs and how they perform with our setups, or should i just get them for the hell of it? plz lmk asap, dont want to let this deal pass on me.... thanks
  10. So i am now in the process of looking for a diff to complete my project, but i can seem to make a decision. I've read plenty of people's thread and post about their setups, but i still can seem to decide on which to use. There are so many different opinions about the different differentials, im getting confused on which one to actually go with. As of right now, i actually scored on a free r33 gst-t short nose r200, buts going to need some refurbishing... Any recomendations for you guys with the same setup? Im basically seting up this car for street driving and occasional drag racing... Plz help. thanks
  11. Yea i actually came across that thread a couple days ago, good work... If anything i may try that if i run out of ideas. Thanks for throwing that out again.
  12. Sounds good guys... yea its starting to make sense as im understanding the fuel system on the Z better and reading your guys' advice on ways to do it. Keep it coming guys... thanks
  13. Well i have an r32 rb26dett coming in, and right now my goals for the car is basically just being able to start it and drive it. I wont be modding the motor or anything anytime soon and i'll be using the stock ECU for now. Maybe 350whp or 400whp at the most for the car in the near future if possible. But i think i should just do everything big the first time so i wouldnt have to do it again later. The thing is i dont know the first step in building my fuel system. Right now im just looking at manuals for the Z and getting familiar with the fuel system. What are your guys' goals or numbers with your fuel setups? Thanks again guys for your help. Alot more helpful than the subi guys in the forums when i first started. lol
  14. hey guys, I've been searching and reading a bunch of threads on people's fuel setups, but i still cant figure out what to go with. Like working on my subaru is pretty much bolt on simple to me. But for this project, its alot more complicating as it looked. I mean i understand everything else about the swap, its just figuring out how to build my fuel system for my setup is the problem. Plz help me out... At least some advice on things i may have not read or input on your 71 240z setups. thanks
