i cant seem to figure out what brand or where i can buy a low pressure fuel pump or lift pump to fill my surge tank... i know this sounds a bit newb i guess, but i really dont know what or which to get? I've seen other people's setup, but for some dumb reason my mind wont register... lol Can anyone help me out or mention any places where i can get one? If this helps, i will be using a bosch 044 external fuel pump as my main pump to the motor. Plz lmk guys.... thanks

I use a Bosch 044 as well... imo just do it right the first time... it payd off for me.

Im confused about brands and all sorts of low pressure or facet pumps to use to fill my surge tank. But i came across a 280zx ex. fuel pump, can that be used instead asmy (low pressure/facet pump) to fill my surge tank while i use the bosch as the main pump to get fuel to my motor? Inputs please.... thanks

Did you give karim an email, i sent it to you and told him that you were looking for one...? He has a couple motors in, r33 rb26 models as well... thats your best bet.

I came across this today on ebay and was wondering if this would work the same as any shortnose r200 on an s30 when modified or if it is a shortnose... it looks pretty similar, ive just never seen a shortnose lsd from a 82-85 supra before. IC IC... yea i just got a pm back that i could use the stock fan with the mounts i got from them... but same thing i DO need a fan shroud... Although an electric fan would make it look alot cleaner looking..

I was told that you could use the stock rb clutch fan with the swap, but you have to make or buy a fan shroud to make it work correctly... Any inputs on anyone that is using theirs? thanks

Summit sells these relays.... You can buy one for the low speed and the higher temp ones.

I have an oil pan if anyone wants it... lmk. Im thinking of just going with a custom RIPS oil pan too. I've looked at this thread so many times, that im convinced that i'll just spend the extra money to go for something that will last me forever... The RIPS pan just looks amazing...

I came across this awhile back and now that im trying to figure out what to do with my oil pan dilema, does anyone know or has anyone tried doing this and seeing if it'll work? I believe they did this on a 240sx. (i just read that it was done to just clear the front sway bar on a 240sx, not the axles or everything else) But if anyone has any inputs, i'd still like to know... Yea i kinda figured...i wouldnt want to have to change it all over again or buy new parts if things did break. I was actually thinking of this, that i would just use the stock r180 just to drive it around (not hard) and make sure everything is working right on the car while im looking for that 4:11 diff. Idk if its a good idea, but hopefully it'll do the job so i can drive it already... I appreciate your guy's advice though. This forum is great!!! helpful people and helpful threads...

Yea i actually did email blacktrax.... They said they would need the whole car to do the custom wiring because they would need to know lengths for wiring and everything else thats on the car to be more specific in the job. I said i'd get back to them once i have everything in the car. As for Zcargarage, they said they dont do wiring services anymore... Booooo.... lol Im actually trying to read up on the write-up on the this forum and hopefully someone thats good with schematics can help me out. But if all fails, i'll just end up calling mckinney for the job. Thanks for the replies guys....!!

Some guy is trying to sell me an r200 with a 4:64 gear ratio, anyone have any inputs or advice on that situation? im actually after a 4:11 bc i've read that they are better suited for the rb25tranny or z32 tranny which are the same internals, sorry if im mistaken... But just wanted some inputs if anyone has tried anything higher than 4:11 diffs on their rbz setups and how the drive is.... thanks!!
