5 year bump Chris how's the progress? Mine is finally going back together..
How about a 1-year delay to the progress bump.
Mine is also finally going back together. Slowly but surely as they say? I am gradually getting parts my parts list in.

The only update here would be my daily driver blowing up on me. I had to rebuild the engine, and just it back on the road a few weeks ago. The 810 project is still on, though no major progress so far. Rebuilding the motor was a great experience, though, and I feel more prepared to tackle this restoration.

Progress is slow, but steady (college tuition and all, bleh). I'm awaiting the arrival of my soda blaster so I can get back to work getting the body repainted and begin reassembly.

Which of your rails fit the L24e setup? They all look really great.

It is fuel injected. I looked at pallnet's site but was uncertain if he was still making them.

Are there any places that will make a custom fuel rail for the L24e straight six engines? Going in my 810 hardtop thanks to all in advance for the info.

Were there any clearance issues with the aftermarket headers?

can we get an update when you try out the aftermarket headers? I would much like to have a header and free flow exhaust on my 810 rather the bulky manifold going back on.

Could you see a header fitting on the 810 now that rack and pinion is in place of the re-circulating ball?

I am in the Birmingham, Alabama area and am trying to find a decently priced shop to have my 810 media blasted. Anyone know of a place to have the frame/body media balsted? (As close to alabama as possible is preferred)

I am in need of a windshield. Any place to find one? I know they're hard to find, but any information on locating one would be much appreciated

Just an update:
I pulled the engine last week and mounted it on a stand. Today I pulled the rear suspension clip, and will also remove the front clip within the next couple of days. After that is done, along with removing some panels, I will be able to clean up the body and send it off for media blasting/powder coating, and will begin cleaning up the engine components.

But I'm not understanding why the 810 itself has to run off a front oil sump. If I drop a different engine in the car why does the oil sump have to be changed??

So, the all the problems with the oil pan/strainer/dipstick would be eliminated if I put the L28E with the ZXT steering??

Considering a L28e engine swap. Would the swap make it easier to modify engine components??

Up to date photos of there tear down. Gettin down to frame for media blast and powder coating. Engine is also disassembled and ready to be pulled.

the antenna does not work, and i only have one of the power mirrors. as for the ac i do not know because i couldnt get the engine to crank when i first got it, but it is not seized
