  1. I am swapping to DCOE45s from injection on '77 280z. I bought a fuel pump for an old carbed RX7 from BlackDragon - It is an Advanced Fuel Products PN 56-012. The outlet is a Parallel Thread M12-P1 Male stud. Hoping someone has a fitting supply source to connect to this odd metric fitting. Ideally M12-P1 female x 8mm barb - but really any M12-P1 Female adapter to 3/8M - - 6AN etc etc. Any help will be appreciated.
  2. Want to buy Front (Engine) Crossmember for August '76 280z - Anyone in the Pacific Northwest?
  3. Thanks - maybe I'm overthinking it - I'll get some longer SS lines and bolt it back together - Cheers
  4. Thanks for the response - These projects are a Never Ending Evolution - I'll get some longer SS lines and make them work.
  5. I've sectioned my struts for GC coilovers and Koni dampers, rebuilt stock rebuilt calipers - Looking for suggestions re connection of braided stainless connectors. On the front the bracket between hard lines and hose was removed (was located right at the area of the strut that was removed). At the rear the bracket was retained, but the stock length SS line creates too sharp of a bend. What have you'all done with these lines? I think I've seen (JMortenson?) rerouted, using a bulkhead fitting through the inner fender - nice, but are there simpler solutions? Thanks for your input. mel
  6. Does anyone have a right hand tail light housing available for sale? my finish trim/lenses are fine - just the housing is smashed. also Front valence center section, and LH and RH front-front fender valance pieces? The stock pieces below the headlight buckets. Car Date Aug '76 Thanks mel
  7. Just received Datsun Spirit Adaptors - They worked perfectly on my aug76 280 with 72 bumper. Rear Only.....
  8. Koni 8610 s fit perfect in 280 struts - drop right in - remember the spacer below rear inserts - bought mine from Ground Control - along with their coil over it - nothing but good things to say about the support and service - also received glandnuts from them. Good luck with your project, from the Left Coast.
  9. We got parts from Rock Auto: gease seals - bearings come c/w races - did drilled slotted rotors and rebuilt calipers while doing sectioned struts/Koni dampers - GC coil overs - Ball joints - tie rod ends - bump steer spacers - energy bushings. All good now... on the the rear.
  10. Aug76/280 - sectioned struts - 8710 Konis - Ground Control CoilOvers - Trevor? - Question about front strut assembly; the literature included shows the GC aluminum upper spring seat installed against stock upper mount (without bearing) when bearing is installed, the aluminum spring seat binds against the rubber on the upper mount (preventing rotation). What am I doing wrong? Is a spacer required between bearing and upper mount? Modify mount? Any comments / assistance will be appreciated.
  11. Would like to buy front and / or rear 240 bumpers. Rubber/Overiders not required. Please let me know what's out there....
