Sup all. So I bought a 77 280z that I will be restoring then building. Only get to work on it on the weekends so its a slow process. I decided to put the 2jz motor in it because if you want to make nice power and reliable, seems like the best choice. Its going to be just a weekend car no track or anything except maybe go to a drag strip that's all.
Inside the car there were receipts dating back to 1982 until today for all the repairs that was done to it with written miles. Its 80k Original miles
Fuel pump was clogged and it would not pump fuel so It did not start.
Here is when I was towing it home.
Sitting in the garage, man such great looking car.
And finally, start stripping evrything.
lol sorry phone pictures.
But now I'm working on removing the undercoating which is a PITA. But its coming along. This is where I finished off this weekend. Alot of work ahead of me. But hopefully before it gets cold here in chicago I'l have the under body done with new suspension installed and it will be a rolling shell.
Already picked up a R154 transmission and have a 2jz ge out of a sc300 in the garage that will do a OEM rebuild, and boost it.
