Easy to maintain? Easy to install? NO ELECTRONICS!!! I'm putting a small block chevy 350 into an 88 turbo right now. Holley 650CFM Carb. GM 700R4 Tranny. All I gotta worry about is fuel, throttle, and kickdown cable, and it'll be running. Oh, I also agree that being able to follow instructions will get you NOWHERE in swapping a motor. If you're planning on dropping a chevy engine in there, there are VERY few people who have done it before to the Z31. No one's gonna be there to answer your question about oil pan clearances around the steering, or anything else you might run across. Good luck with your swap, whatever you decide to put in it.
