Well I never found a Z so I ended up purchasing a 1966 Porsche 912 to restore in the meantime. Once I'm done with that I'll move on back to one of a few project car ideas (VQ35 in a 240Z, VQ35 in a S14, fully built monster 300ZX, a 240Z with the 280Z engine or a early 70's nova with an all aluminum small block 427) thanks anywayz

Hi i'm looking for a 1970-1974 240Z somewhere in California. I'd really prefer to get one somewhere in Northern California. I can easily make it all the way up to Sacremento and down to about Fresno (I have to get my stepfather to help me simply because he has the trailer and the truck to help me tow a car if its not in the best working order). Now on the car I am not looking for a completed car as this is going to be my project car. I don't mind if it has bad paint, bad brakes, poor interior, or a damaged/not running car. I don't want a lot of rust on the car (a little is fine if its easily repaired but I don't want to have to replace large body panels/parts because of rust). I'd prefer to have the engine in the car (now completly necessary if I can get the right deal). I'm not in the biggest hurry to get the car but I am looking to spend about $2500 but can go up if i find the right car. Thanks for any help you can give. *edit* Oh and also can pay in cash if that matters to anybody.
