Forgot to mention that boiling point of gasoline is around 440f degrees, so I've read.

I have dual 2 1/2" running on my car. Came off the LS1 manifolds with 2 1/2" mandrel pipe, under the sides of the rear diff, up to dual flowmasters which are mounted at the very end of the exhaust. My concern is that my stainless tank is very close to the mufflers. The mufflers are mounted on the sides of the tank and there is a good inch or so between the mufflers and tank. Will there be any heat issues? Should I wrap the mufflers with heat shield tape? Use a different tank? Everything is just so tight under these little cars. thanks

I love the look of the carbon fiber flares but I'm after a smoothed in look. I'm not too crazy about blending fiberglass to steel so I am considering making steel flares. I have quite a bit of welding and body work experience but I have never made or seen steel flares made before. Anyone have any sites with info on making these? I would also be willing to cut some flares from modern cars if anything close exists? Let me know if you have any ideas? THANKS

Is there any difference between the energy kit and the kit sold by neverenough2003 on ebay? I'm looking at both of them and the energy kit looks like it has more pieces?

Those things are awesome! My problem is that the outlet on the lower radiator is only 1" and I am doubting enough coolant can pass through it. Question: Do you have those hose splicers in aluminum and in a 90 degree bend? THANKS

I posted this over at LS1 forums and one member said that if the outlet isn't the same size as the water pump, I would end up with "cavitating" issues? Did you guys have any problems with any of that? I'm having to modify my car to make this rad fit and I only want to have to do it once. THANKS

My LS1 s30 is coming along great. I'm pulling off all of the suspension this week. Blasting and powdercoating it. I need to replace all of the bushings. Summit Racing sells an energy suspension urethane bushing kit. It's listed as part number ENS-7-18102R Of course I won't use all of the bushings since I'm running an LS1 and the struts are all being replaced with new struts. Is this the best way to go or should I be purchasing something else? I basically need every bushing that is on this car. This complete kit costs about $160.00 What are your thoughts?

I've got my LS1 into my z and am using a 4 core aluminum Ron Davis Radiator. It has a standard upper radiator hose connection but the lower connection is a 1" threaded NPT connection. I can find many fittings that are NPT but is it a problem since it's only a 1" fitting? Will that allow enough antifreeze to travel? I can't find the answer anywhere. THANKS

For my ls1 280z, I need the following: Universal fuse block, chassis wiring harness, complete bushing set, accuform dash cap, euro 240 front bumper, msa type 1 or 2 valance, maxima rear caliper brackets. I need as much of this stuff as I can get. Let me know what you might have. THANKS

I'm going to be running AC with my LS1 setup in the Z. I'm using the stock harness and is there any advantage to integrating the LS1 harness into the AC system or should I just use the AC controls from the Z? Anyone have any info on this? I did the search but didn't come up with anything regarding AC. THANKS

Parting out my zx 5 speed and can't seem to find out if the rear end is a good replacement for the rear end on my LS1 280z? I'm going to be possibly using sway bars, front brakes and would like to swap the complete rear ends, not just diff. Any thoughts or links to info? THANKS

Where are you guys getting the collectors for the header pipe to attach to the manifolds when using the 98-99 f body manifolds? Any shop sell these?

Thanks for your reply. I've searched on this forum and can't find a straight answer on the f body manifolds. I've read that they work and others say they will work but need modified. Do you have any more info on this or does anyone have any pictures? I'm heading over to the LS1 sites to see if anyone has any info there. Thanks again

Thanks. The headlamp buckets are loose and so they look like they are not fitting but I just sat them back in place for the picture.

I have been meaning to post pictures of my car for the last few months and I'm finally doing it. not really. I don't know much about the injection system on these cars.

My z is hard to start unless it's warm. It backfires if I give it too much gas off of an idle and seems to run best at higher RPMs. I still need to change the cap, rotor, and plug wires but I just changed the plugs out. Where should I start? THANKS

I am trying to remove the stainless trim on the A-Pillar on the front windshield. I removed the phillips head screws but how do I remove the stainless, it feels like there are some iternal clips or something?
