Hi everyone, I'm Doing a s12w/z31 front brake swap. I need a spacer for a late model 260 (10-74)/280z it goes between the hub and rotor. MMS is notoriously hard to get a hold of so im wondering if anyone has some or know where I can get some reliably. Thanks in advance.

Im doing a s12w/z31 swap on my 260z. I need the hub spacers between the rotor and hub. It's about 9mm wide. If anyone has some or know where I can find some it would be greatly appreciated. It's a late model 260z 10/74

Yup, stock springs, don't remember how much I cut, dig thru the thread and it'll probably say in there somewhere.

Not exactly like mine, it has a raised part in the middle but like I said, msa and xenon make very similar ones. No problems really with the cut springs, I had Tokico blues with them to and the ride wasn't that bad actually.

The tail lights I had my buddy do, check out solo8parts.com
They're ground control sleeves and lip Ionno, but xenon an msa make almost identicle ones.

Hi, I need some help figuring out where all the vacuum lines go on my round top su's with a 240z air cleaner. I dug thru my Haynes manual but can't really tell. Stock su's and 240z air box. I'm pretty sure I got some stuff mixed up lol. Good pics would be greatly appreciated.

Wait, never mind, just read thru the post again. Lol it's too early for me right now. I'll double check what's on the 260 as soon as I get to work.

Well my L28 has a dizzy in it already that's in much better shape than the 260's and just wanted to know why I couldn't use the later ign module, and yes, my 260 is electronic ignition also, that being said, I can use the ZX dizzy and swap the ign modules for the 260 one right?

Hi all, I'm swapping in an l28 into my 260, as most of you know by now. I have the ZX dizzy and ignition module from an 82, but I've read that I need an early one from a 79. Now here's my confusion, can I use my 82, ignition module or do I have to get the early one? And if so where can I find one?
You guys have been great at helping me so far with this, I've been a ZX guy for years and most of this stuff is new for me.

Yeah, there definately much brighter, I was actually getting concerned about ppl rear ending me cuz you can't see my tail lights or breaks very well during the day.
Anyways..
Got my tails back, red outed the turns, going back to my friend so he can fix the fast ass blinker and they're going on!
But this is the final look

My friend is running the Mr gasket pump on his corolla with solex's. Might be good for now to get the car running, the Holley looks good too. I really don't care about noise level so as long as it works I'm happy lol.

Hey everyone, I'm swapping in an L28e in my s30 soon and was wondering what kind of fuel pump to run. It has to be a low psi one since stock su's run off of like 4 psi if I remember right, could be wrong. The l28e head doesn't have the provision for a mechanical pump otherwise I would have swapped that over. Any suggestions would be great.

It's rustoleum satin blue, I need to get another case of this stuff lol, but $35 for 5 cans of this stuff issnt bad to get rid of the cruddy primer.

I had some free time before I have to start work today so I got some stuff done.
Got the motor on a stand in all it's grimy goodness
Soaked it in some degreaser, need more tho, and gotta steam clean it to get all the tough stuff
Decided to paint the valve cover purple, along with the motor when it's cleaned up.
And this is what I ended up with

Epic update time! I did some dismantling today at work.
Decided to take one last pic before the car lost all it's dignity
Here's what We're working with here folks
After couple of hours of carefully removing connectors (as I'll be saving the harness and ecu and efi junk) and ripping all the hose connections it was time to rip out the goods
And here's what we ended up with, a 4x4 looking 280 and a grimy but otherwise very nice L28
Gonna get this thing on an engine stand after I get some long ass bolts an clean the eff out of this thing. Getting a fresh coat of paint, polish etc etc

Me parts car has arrived!
'82 280zx
Nothing on the body is really worth saving, I can falcon punch half the holes in the body/frame.
But at 76k on the drivetrain puts my 280zx to shame at how well it runs. Anyways, that's getting ripped out and going in the 260, might swap some stuff to te 280 that's in better shape.

Did a few things today after work
Threw on a 240 tail light to see how it looks, I'm kindu stuck now lol
And finally got the center valance on after persuading some brackets
By this time the mosquitoes were making a feast of me so I called it a day

No real updates yet, should be picking up a s130 parts car soon with 76k on it but more on that later if it goes thru.
Here's what I get distracted by every morning going to work and coming home.
That's pretty much it for now, maybe I'll swap in the 240 tail lights tomorrow.
