That's good to know I guess. Ok then, if anybody has bought a fuel tank for a 77, where'd you get it? I checked Black Dragon and Motorsport Auto, but I didn't see any.

Well we've come to the conclusion that the fuel tank has a clog preventing the gas to get to the fuel pump. There was also a dent in the tank where the PO hit something. We were going to take it to a radiator shop and have it cleaned, but it would be a waste if it needed to be replaced anyway. Anyway any suggestions would be appreciated. Here's the main question though: Can a 280zx fuel tank go on a 77 280z?

Wow that's probably the worst story I've ever heard. Your car gets totaled, you get robbed, and everything that could possibly be delayed was. This WOULD make a great short film. Usually when I'm crossing the border (I used to live in Canada (Ottawa)), the people were really friendly. -
Well I changed the fuel pump on my 77 280Z and some gas spilled out. The smell was overwhelmingly bad, mostly because the car had been sitting for at least 5 years. I think it may have fermented or something.

Wow the body looks perfect. If I ever need motiviation I'll just come here. I like imagining driving to school in that.
