I had my car blasted using plastic media. I removed the doors, hood, hatch, fenders and front valence. All pieces were done individually along with the car body. The cost was $750.00 for everything.

Ron-
A write-up would be great. The items of most interest to me are the method of mounting the hall sensor and the installation of the magnets in the crank pulley. The more info the better.

scottie- thanks for the good info. I will continue searching for more. The info from your old L28et set-up would be of interest to me and others for sure. Hopefully someone can host it for you.

Has there been a complete write-up on installing a SDS system on an L28et? I've searched and found some aspects of the installation but nothing very complete. At one point there was a link form the SDS website to a Z installation but now the link is dead. I'm trying to figure out the pros and cons of the SDS vs. the stock ecu and harness. If I go w/ the SDS system what else do I need other than the motor(for install of L28et into '73 240Z)? Are there parts of the stock harness/wiring which i need to retain? Can the stock fuel rail be used ? Has anyone just used the SDS to contol fuel and not ignition? Sorry for so many questions. Thanks in advance.

Whats the widest 17" wheel/tire combo people are running under stock 240z fenders without flares? Any advice on backspacing/offset ? Coil-overs vs. reg.struts?
