You have some work to do then! I guess this post is for the guys with z's closer to their own age with a gap between ownership! Really hard to tell if it's your first car. I'm 10 years older then mine.

Maybe it's just me but the interior of the datsun seems to have a very unique smell.

Yup!! you can see in the pic it's cracked where it connects to the manifold. Tried (and failed - MISERABLY) to make one that fit! better off moving onto something else and just buying one. thanks.

it's the 1/2 inch tube ("u" shaped) on the right side of the exhaust manifold - looking at it from the driver side. Early 74 - 260
