  1. My buddy has a '77 2+2 parts car and I was wondering if I could use the strut tube and spindle setup out of it to section and setup ground control coilovers for my '78. Thanks for any info in advance!!
  2. It turned out to be the fuel pump... switched it out for a Bosch 044. Solved the problem
  3. I bought this turbo for a fair price a few months ago and I was wondering how well it would work with my l28et? Any idea on the spool time? How much power could I expect to make with this thing? Currently running Ms3 with the stock turbo. I will install an intercooler once I switch out the turbo Here are the specs Brand: Borgwarner / IHI Model: 51T-32 Size: T3/T04E Compressor A/R: 0.7 Compressor trim: 46 Turbine A/R: 0.6 Turbine trim: stage II Flange type: standard T3 The turbo came off of a Chevy 6.5 Thanks Jake
  4. I actually just filled and drained the tank with some fresh fuel a couple times to get out the little bit of crud that was in it. I did it before I put the new pump and fpr in but neglected to put a new filter in... I suppose that's where I'll start. Thanks Mike I was wondering about this, I did a long search trying to figure out if I should rewire it or not and most of the answers I found led me to believe the stock wiring would work fine. I'm definitely going to give this a go though! Thanks Joe I actually tried that last night, the first time I popped the cap it immediately stopped. I gave it another go after letting the car sit a while and then running it again and it made no difference. Thanks Tim I really appreciate the replies
  5. Hey, I have a '78 280z, with a fresh l28et and ms3. I recently got it running and decided to put a walbro fuel pump, aeromotive afpr and aftermarket rail on it. I got the car driving around with a decent air to fuel ratio. It will hold a solid 40psi for a while driving it and all of the sudden it drops as I get into boost. I'll be driving the car and all of the sudden it leans right out as I put the pedal down. Even just revving it in my driveway it drops off from 40 to 0 in about 2 seconds. The pump seems to be fine but does start to whine a tad more as this happens. I have it wired to the stock setup. I have also bypassed the whatever valve is beside the stock pump. It seems happens intermittently and I don't know why. Any help would be much appreciated!
