  1. haha joel....ok paulo please deal with the language barrier from now on, but read this again....

YOU SENT ME 2 FRONT AIRDAMS....I SOLD 1 TAILLIGHT PANEL I BOUGHT ON EBAY...now please shut up and refund my money, if you want YOUR parts WHICH I STILL HAVE SITTING RIGHT HERE NEXT TO ME, BACK...THANKS

"funny how you didnt have trouble asking for retail price on something

quoting you... JUST PLAIN DONT FIT."

"don't call me a retard, im not."

"the chrome trim is only an option it has nothing to do as far as how the panel mounts, you can use them or not."

"the second picture has them if you didn't see them." < "that first car dosnt even have the crome piece installed." < / Thank you for further proving your lack of reading comprehension and not notice that i said nothing about the second picture, as i can plainly see that it is in it.

Jeff, you don't owe me for anything.

while debating on this thread i have mistaken you

for somebody else the panel you sold was of your property, and i take back what said about your sale.

    Paulo.

  2. Just pointing this out but i still have your panel wise guy, i also bought one on ebay thats the one i sold to a member. Thanks for trying to be in my business but next time get your facts straight. Also let me make this very clear for you, IF YOU WANT YOUR SH!T BACK, i need my refund in paypal by the end of this week if not, i will be coming to cali soon and deal with it then, and if I cant get in contact with you then i will be taking you to small claims court and have it settled there.

About those pics you just posted, FYI incase you're blind or a ra-tard that first car dosnt even have the crome piece installed.

I think I speak for everyone when I say that your products arent up to snuff, inferior, & JUST PLAIN DONT FIT. You dont do what you say or sell a product that is up to grade, i think that you would have alot better responses and cash flow if you 1. fixed the product, and 2. learn how to run a business. The reason everyone has to communicate with you through hybrid is you dont pick up the phone or call customers back IF the phone isnt disconnected. Same goes for your email.

the panel i sent you is a replacement to the first one that got damaged in shipping , i need mine back, the one you have sold.

i dont have to refund you for nothing, it is you that owes me that panel.

funny how you didnt have trouble asking for retail price on something

quoting you... JUST PLAIN DONT FIT.

don't call me a retard, im not. the chrome trim is only an option it has nothing to do as far as how the panel mounts, you can use them or not.

the second picture has them if you didn't see them.

you need to do it differently, the studs on the back of the panel are there only for you to attach the lights on to the panel, the stud on the light housings are the ones that are bolted on to the car. there is enough tolerance in the holes of the body to manipulate the assembled panel into place.

  3. Okay, let me make this clear, My car being "banged up" has no affect on the fitment, my regular tail lights fit on fine.

second, I did trying installing them by putting the tail lights on first, it didn't work. would you like me to make a video of me trying to put it on to show you every detail on how much it sucks and why it wont fit? It doesn't fit, im not re tarted, I know how to put a panel on, I tried fitting it as many different ways as I could. If you test fitted it before you sent it to me you would have seen that it doesnt fit.

im only posting facts they have been installed.

    Ne-Zcar-Pics-011.jpg

    101_0105.jpg

  4. I just got it and i tried test fitting it... I think you send these things out before test fitting them.

I tried putting it on with no success. The panel once again wont fit, I tried fitting it in as many different ways I could think of but it just doesn't fit!

If I put one side of the panel on then I couldn't fit the other side because the studs wouldn't line up. If you look at the pictures you will see the gap from the right side to the left, the right side has no gap between the body and the panel while the left has about a 1/4 of space...The panel wont line up no matter what I do. Although this panel is much better than the last visually, its just as bad fitment wise. Once again I have another part that doesn't fit, not to mention the time all of this has taken. Its almost been 4 months! and I still dont have a panel that fits.

And there were a few other problems like the tailight trim had nowhere to screw onto, and the reverse lights didnt line up in the center at all(its hard to tell by the picture but in person it looks bad)

This is the right side with the studs in place(sorta)

    photo-5.jpg

And here is the left side with the studs not fitting in place with the right side studs in place.

    photo-6.jpg

here is the gap between the panel and body on the right side

    photo-3.jpg

here is the gap between the body and panel on the left side

    photo-4.jpg

And heres a side angle of what it looks like

    photo-2.jpg

    photo-1.jpg

i see 2 things wrong with your pictures, 1st your car is all banged up.

2nd you are doing it wrong you need to take off the lights install them in the panel and put the whole assembly on to the car, you should have done that before assuming the part doesn't work, if you did the same with the first one its no surprise you couldn't make it work.

    Paulo.

  5. "paulo just isnt someone to buy from that simple. It would be great if a mod could give him "the boot" like justin since he cant make quality parts, has no phone number that works (one on site wasnt working a few weeks ago when i tried it), and seems to "avoid" getting things settled".

    Best suggestion yet!!!

i dont sell trough Hybridz, stravi is communicating with me trough hybridz.

    and posting his opinions.

i dont see what is wrong with that.

  6. I was about to say the body isnt so stright on the right but....I have two panels that fit the lights well. I dont know about actually in the whole thing but the lights do fit (i just sold one of them) but i have the other one and after i get the other things on this car done i will be testing it out and if it doesnt fit i will be making a trip to california (as i do atleast 3 times a year) and will be setting things up to get this settled and if its not i will be taking legal action because i am tired of the b/s that keeps happening with no phone calls, return calls, emails, etc.

first of all, you just sold the panel you need to send me back so how is that going to work?????

    Paulo.

  7. hey paulo as long as your online, can you tell me when i will be getting my new panel in the mail

stravi, im in the middle of a storm here, but our policy is to ship the part you're not satisfied with for either money back or an exchange.

so get the panel boxed and ready to go because yours is ready to go out.

    Paulo.

  8. What Im saying is its not impossible to ship an airdam. Ive done it with no problems, MSA does it all the time, Black Dragon does it all the time, etc, etc.

this one is particularly dangerous to ship, its shape doesn't help.

also the carbon ones are sort of brittle and they cant take the flex

they have been summited, ive done fiberglass ones with no problems.

    Paulo.

  9. "> Ok you have the address...wrap it well and mail the receipt and all paperwork

    > -Jeff"

this is what you should have done, just forever ago and it should have come the second time like this...."He replied back stating that he has sent me a new one, which indeed arrives in a box from FedEx. It was packed and shipped just like the first one to me should have been, so I get a good condition part!"

Its not the money Paulo, I paid good money for parts that were suppose to be good. Its the service, i dont know how else to say it really...i asked that a certain process be followed the second time around so it doesnt happen yet again and nothing was done the way i asked for it. No box, no insurance sent to me, nothing.

I want a good part...thats all, now when i get one then i'll be happy and as before i would have told everyone here you made good and would buy from you again but its the fact you blatantly didnt care or just didnt want to do it the way i asked and it got here like it did because of that.

Incase you havent figured out, raise the prices $20 so you can put it in a box, I dont know what your thinking but if you got the part shipped to you like that without opening on the spot could you know if it was damaged or could be? Now if it was in a box and had a big ass crush mark im sure you would know where it got crushed and how bad....thing is shipping companies dont care and insurance takes forever to go through so you have to protect Yourself as well as You Customers so that it doesnt happen.

well i can only give you your money back at this point, look for my mail tomorrow, Thanks.

    Paulo.

  10. Paulo.....you might want to consider using a stick of PVC 1" or a 1"x1" lumber to screw to the width span when shipping .If your part is jigged correctly...you should be able to use the dam to fender bolt hole divots to attach with self tapping screws.

Or...in the mean time, look up U-line dot coms website for an endless list of cardboard boxes that can be ordered in bulk to fit your needs.....but I'd still brace the airdams with a span bar like afore mentioned.

    Cheers,Vinny

Vinny thanks for the input. i have shipped this items in a oversize box to insure its safety it costs more then our part i think, it was damaged too.

we will probably just take it off our product list i don't think there is a suitable manner to ship these the damage ratio is just too high, if you go overboard on the box the price goes trough the roof.

    Thanks, Paulo.

  11. Paulo, i'm going to try and keep my cool here. I got your "replacement" and it was even more F***K*D up than the first one you sent me. Heres some pics for YOU and EVERYONE else to see the QUALITY of your work/packaging for shipping. As for your "out of my own pocket" BS thats exactly what it is...BS. You as a business are expected to produce a quality product and make sure that it gets to my door in good shape, thats where good wrapping/shipping comes into play. AS well as send/ship it out when you say you are going to.

Your first part that came screwed up in packaging....

    6q8z2t.jpg

second one that came packed the same way....(i'll describe it as one layer small bubble wrap over the part then cardboard cutup boxes over that then shrinkwrap on top and thats it) ie NOT in an actual box, im guessing to save on shipping....

    2hwloqg.jpg

    another angle

    33fepg2.jpg

And yes im making this public after 2-3years not being able to get a good part from you. Countless phone calls and emails and nothing, you hide everytime i try and get it fixed. If you would have not F-ed me over when I DROVE to cali to swap these out (thinking that it shouldnt be cracked if you didnt have to ship it) even gave you a place and time that you agreed to and YOU BAILED (should i list how much that cost me?)

And Low and Behold you sent me a bad part AGAIN. Also i'll include the emails for everyone to see...

    "

    >

    > Jeff after i missed the drop off ive been holding on to the replacement

    > lip for the longest time, i will ship it again on my end, insured if

    > its damaged again you will have to deal with the shipping"

it almost sounds to me like you thought it would be damaged? Maybe you sent me a bad one this time that somone else had sent back and figured youd just stick me with it? Maybe, maybe not but you sure didnt do what i said hence my reply email

to which i got this from "edson"

We wil ship out the spoiler this wednesday to this adrress below:

    **** n. ******** trl.

    ********, TX , 7****

    US

    Thanks

    Edson

    Retro-spec team"

Now notice the date.....OH july 20th??hmmm funny how it took over a month to get it huh? Oh then i sent this....

    Re: spolier‏

    From: Jeffrey Mott (*********@hotmail.com) Sent:Mon 7/20/09 3:31 PMTo: "paulo sierra" (fazzt73@yahoo.com)

Ok just wrap it well inside a box, insure for atleast 500 and mail the insurance papers to the same address

Well finally a month later i get the "wrapped" spoiler, since you or edson obviously didnt send it when you said you would. MUCH less STILL not the way i specifically SAID to package it, and hmmm NO insurance papers so i can "deal with the insurance" (which i told you after the first time i would deal with the issue but i needed the papers).

So now i have 2 piece of S*** parts that are thin (can see light through), Cracked, and have wavy weave spots....thanks for everything. You seriously have the worst customer service (if you can even call it that), bad parts (make and fit), and noone should ever deal with you unless your actually getting "dealt" with. You have no respect for your customers, couldn't care less about the parts going out,& your attitude as a "business" or how people perceive you. I am done with you, you wont be getting any parts back unless you pay for all the return shipping and refund me for all of the parts i bought. I will eventually try on the other parts (although ofcourse it doesnt matter if they fit or not because i will not be dealing with you anymore unless its the bold part above happens).

Thanks for the ride, horrible business practice, bad parts, a great way to spend almost 2k and 2-3 yrs dealing with someone/something and nothing getting resolved/FIXED. -Jeff (the guy in tx with 2 broken spoilers now)

Jeff im really dissapointed on the 2nd spoiler being destroyed like that i made that box myself, it was very structurally sound.

im going to do what i should have done the first time your spoiler got damaged, give you your money back and ill deal with insurance.

i will email you with the details, im going to need your help with the claim tough.

    Paulo.

  12. Your associate attempted to hustle me out and also made me look bad at MR2OC since he couldn't even verify which process was used to make the mold and all. I see that you posted your apartment address, that will probably make people leery to deal with you. Don't you have a store front?

im sorry he made you look bad, there is a reason why he is no longer around.

all you need to know is here http://www.shop.retro-spec.net.

you can PM me if i can be of service, now lets stay on topic.

    Thanks,Paulo.

  13. So you're the famous Paulo. I remember you from back then with Team Prototype and all. I actually bought a AW11 TRD front airdam replica from you back in 04. I remember your associate (Lyle I believe) who was trying to hustle me saying I'll make money if I refer guys who would want carbon fiber parts but need to let you guys have the car for molds down in your Mexico "warehouse" and promised to get the cars back in several weeks. Luckily no one agreed to that coz I didn't here from him eversince I got my 4ag cam gear covers.

Yes thats me, Lyle is long gone from the company. i think i do remember you as a client i mean..because you where local.

    Paulo.

  14. ^ I'm confused.... Isn't this the same product from the same place "Retro-Spec"? The link you provided has the following at the bottom:

Yes Brian from ZCC is a customer of ours, he carrys our datsun line. we had a great experience dealing with him, hes a really stand up guy, there is a 2 week leadtime when ordering from ZCC.

    Paulo.

  15. Exactly, or fix your mistakes right the first time and in a hurry. Or he is going to end up like others on this site and get banned/someone is going to go looking for him and its not going to be pretty. Its just not that hard to have good customer service, the problem is he's in california, but he "works" in mexico. I'm betting so he doesnt have to worry about taxes and its cheaper to produce in mexico, I'm sure. But also he needs to have the parts ready if he's going to post them for sale, thats just retarded to advertise a part (without putting a lead time) without having it, and I hate being lied to. If you dont have it Say so, if you say its shipping it better be here and with tracking/insurance and with the paperwork so we can get it fixed if it does get messed up in shipping.

Still waiting on you to make things right Paulo...havent lost faith yet but hoping you do the right thing and Soon. My email is still the same jeffdahot1@hotmail.com and im going to send this to you through pm as well as my cell and i expect a part, email or call in the next week or i will start taking legal action. -Jeff

Jeff, since youre making this public you need to add that your airdam was damaged in shipping, i replaced the part out of my own pocket and spend 140.00 dlls

    to ship it to you.

try on the rest of your parts, so we can settle it now ok?

    Paulo.

  16. I too purchased a panel from Paulo back on 7/4/09 through ebay. I was a month out from requiring it for my project so when he emailed me 1.5 weeks after purchase saying the part would ship on a Thursday, I thought no big deal.

Anyway, here we are a month + since sale date, he has emailed me 3 times and returned a message on ebay always promising shipping in a couple days, the latest was this past Thursday. Still no tracking number as promised, I doubt it's in the mail.

I still would like to have this part, but Paulo man, this is ridiculous. If you require a few weeks lead time then be up front about it. If you can't produce with demand then don't sell until you have parts ready. You could make a lot more money with good business practice.

point taken, our problem is solved your panel went to the post office today.

    Thanks, Paulo.

  17. whoa whoa! lets not forget about me here(the guy who started this thread). id really like my panel paulo as i have my car back on the road again! and ive been waiting for some time now.

the replacement panel is ready i will require you to send back the damaged panel to:

    Paulo Sierra

    1286 University ave.

    apt 106

    San Diego, CA.

    92103

    thanks.

  18. ya it looks like that, that one seems to look more glossy then mine but maybe its just the pic. it looked nice but it just didnt fit haha.

Stravi, im working on the panels right now.

    is your car a 260z???

might be different from the 280z if any body can confirm that it would help a lot i have a 260z here and the bolts dont align right from my jig for the 280z.

i have a replacement panels ready just need to figure out the aligment thing and its done, Lmk.

    Paulo.

  19. Hey paulo its JEFF in tx....i have tried countless times to get ahold of you (search your inbox for jeffdahot1@hotmail.com) you sent me a front air dam that got damaged in shipping almost 2 years ago now and have YET to FIX this problem...im not paying to ship it back to you and even tried to meet up with you when i was in california last winter. i havent even looked at how the tailight panel fits (if it looks like above i myself will just dremel the plastic (its not That far off imo) but the crunched up lip i have wont work at all for me. i did afterall buy 1k+ in parts from you so i expect them to be very nice or you can just refund my money like ive said before. its your choice but email me or respond here as FINALLY i might have a chance at getting this fixed it looks like. (btw my parts were ALOT more than yours op so feel better about that)

Jeff after i missed the drop off ive been holding on to the replacement lip for the longest time, i will ship it again on my end, insured if its damaged again you will have to deal with the shipping company itself email me at sales@retro-spec.net im also copying your email for a faster response.

    Thanks, Paulo.

  20. Just curious, why the username switch?

Why cant people design something, make sure it fits ---- THEN ---- sell it. In other words you do the testing rather than customers. Imagine if say brembro used this method with their brakes. Designed something, oops 12 peoples brakes went out as they were driving, better fix the problem.

CF parts would be really cool if they all fit nicely.

I couldnt log on after a while, i dont think i was banned or suspended.

i even contacted mods but never got an answer thats why i changed.

the panel fitted well, my jig for putting the bolt is the problem with this one

im working on getting it right again.

    ill keep you guys updated.

    Paulo.
