  1. So I discovered that the spacers are original. My new seat covers say 70-73 and the pads say 70-78 so I suppose I can just replace the webbing and call it good, even though it's not 100% correct for a '72.
  2. Hi all. I just removed the seats from my '72 240z (6/72) to reupholster them and found that they appear to be a mish-mash of seat parts from different years. Looking to the experts to confirm my suspicions. I found that the seat bottoms have webbing instead of springs, which I thought ended in 1971. However, it also appears that my hinge/recline mechanism is correct for a '72. Finally, the seat studs had these black "spacers" on them between the rail and the mount on the floor. Are these original? See attached photos. I appreciate any feedback.
  3. I have 1, 2, 3 and 4 in the diagram if you need them.
  4. I figured as much, this is what they look like.
  5. Thanks for the info! Not really looking for info in order to sell, just trying to figure out what I have on my hands. I may use the half shafts if I put an R200 in my project 240Z. Thanks again.
  6. Popped the cover off. Looks like an open diff with 49:12 on the ring gear which I think translates to 4.08:1.
  7. Hi all. I'm no expert, so I'm turning to you guys. I'm parting out a 240Z and it had this differential setup in it. It is shorter than a standard 240Z diff and has CVs at both ends. It had a homemade hack of a front mount holding it in. Part number on top of the housing are 38311-40f00. Pics:
