when I took my Int'l scout to be registered I had NO glass in the vehicle WHATSOEVER, and bassically open manifold exhausts, and no seat belts... the only thing they asked was for me to hit the lights... lol

the manual rack s130's have a steering box and linkage if i remember correctly. -

Im not sure what it requires, but I have a Manuel Rack in my 81 zx turbo and i want to go with power steering maybe we could trade if its an easy bolt on?
I am searching for info on swapping in a manual rack for the power one I have. I am trying to clean up the engine bay and one less belt is an easy way to do it. But what I have gathered is the racks are different. I have a 82 and there is no option for manual at the LPS. But I know that 79s had the option. Is it a bolt in or does it require fab work? If fab is there a manual rack anyone recommends. -

Nice, How about some pics? If cygnusx1 doesnt mind of course. This is just such an Awesome Mod. It would be nice to see how other applications where done. Or just seeing it on other Z's period.
I put some on mine. Not exactly legal as they are red, but its still pretty cool. I got mine from harbor freight. -
First set of wheels are Centline 16x7 0 Offset all the way around with 225/50r16 Tires

I saw this poor car sitting in the back of a smog repair shop with a cracked head and bought it for $600 replaced the motor off ebay for $250. Had the dash reupholstered for $200. and paid the back taxes of $371. just blew out the rear brake caliper $100, It doesn't stop very well with only the front brakes. They get expensive quick. I can't wait to blow up this engine so I can look into other power plant options. I have always wanted one and I love how they handle. I will post some pictures later. -

exactly what zxtman is saying, if its a concern dont remove it. Or you can possibly go through the hassle of just removing the line further back. Are you just cleaning up the engine bay luvmy280zxt?
