  2. heheheheheh Stony im sure you know them very well!!!! i got them from you a whiles back mikey
  3. hehehe i dont know at that time in that picture the motor wasnt installed and the fronts had major positive camber but still the rears have some great negative camber. when i get time ill have some plates made for the rears. mikey
  4. i can prolly get the tail lights but i assure they will not be cheap. the closet i can get them are in austrailia...forget getting them in japan its gonna cost triple the price. so if your interested ill email my friend and see if he would ship to US and what it would cost. that would definatley look crazy on a 240z. mikey
  5. im going to be making a mold of my hood made of fiberglass and run a reverse hood scoop for the air to pass through the i/c....the radiaor has 2 HUGE fans behind the ron davis radiator, it has a custom shroud, im not done with the motor still have some other small details, i still have to make shrouds the sides of the radiator and i/c. as for now my im going to prop the hood about 1" to vent out the air to the rear but it will be fine. heres a link to a G35 with same v-mount setup. http://superstreetonline.com/featuredvehicles/130_0508_signal/index2.html it was built by signal auto, if you see the black hood, that the same hood scoop ill be making. theres ways i can go about it, i can add fans to the i/c, vent the hood, run hood scoop, etc..not worried about the air being soaked. i just wanted to do a different setup. mikey
  6. HEY I didnt see that there was a 4 cyl thread, its been awhile since ive posted here, been busy working on my car...but hey heres the product of all the hard work. hope you like it http://www.classiczcars.com/forums/showthread.php?t=19369 the car is a 1973 nissan skyline GTX with red ttop SR20DET motor. thanks for looking
  7. heres another link to pics of the whole car http://www.pandagarage.com/Mike's%20skyline.htm thanks mikey
  8. hey i thought id post up my new project, i just recently finished a 1973 nissan skyline GT-X fitted with a Red Top SR20DET, specs are stock internals, intercooler and radiator installed as a V-Mount setup, all 3 " piping, intercooler and downpipe. greddy pulleys, greddy style intake manifold, custom top mount turbo manifold, custom DP, custom X-member, hybrid turbo turbonetics t3/t4 60-1 hifi stage 5, 300zx turbo pump custom installed in stock tank, tial BOV, hks wastegate, greddy manual boost controller, 550cc nismo inj, stock 5 speed gearboc, all earls fittings, i still need to get the micrtec lt-8 stand alone computer installed and will be dynoing the car as well, looking to shut down the car as soon as i hit 400rwhp with race gas. ill keep you all updated as soon as i add more to the car, hopefully if tax return is nice to me this year ill be refitting the turbo with a GT30R BB turbo. thanks mikey heres the link to the pictures http://www.classiczcars.com/forums/showthread.php?t=19369
  9. wow i love the watanabe wheels...i have a set of 15x10 and 15x8.5 on my 73 skyline..they were first put on my 240z gnose with the zg flares. i run stretch tire but i think im going to run some 255s now. i had 275-50 slicks that stuck out to far and my car was to low, the flare would sit on the tire. anyway if you wanna see pics just send me an email at mikeseez@cox.net thanks mikey oh yea i got my watanabes years ago for $975 a set..hehehe cant believe how expensive they are now
  10. the 200whp was pretty respectable, i wasnt even runing flat top pistons, i was running nismo dished pistons getting about 10.7 to 1 compression...i didnt spend to much on the build up, you dont need much horsepower to have a fast car, 200whp can get you high 12 sec 1/4s on a good day...i raced my buddies nsx off the line at a dead start with a seeping head gasket, 1st gear dead even, 2nd gear he went up half a car, 3rd gear went up another half a car so at this point he was a car length ahead, 4th gear he would not lose me,,,bout to hit 5th then we ran out of track...i was running a 336 rearend, if i had geared the car better with my 4.44 r190 lsd id prolly jump off the line like a bat out f hell, and with running only SUs i think it was a cool deal for about $3500 of work done. nsx had comptech exhaust, monster flow and chip. not a bad run i think...we even ran twice same results, wish i had one the second time but that thing can revv! its pretty tough to get 200 whp out of a l motor with aout a good amount of work done, my motor was reliable and strong, had no blow by and started up everytime, very consistant, built well,.
  11. my frens helped me with my build up a few years back and was a nismo 2.9L stroker motor using a L28 block with an mild port and polish e31 head with nismo valve springs, hks mild cam, the block was heat treated, with nismo dished pistons, 100 overbore, and was sleeved, the crank was knife edged, and counter weighted for faster rev, hks light flywheel, crane hi6 ignition, 6-1 headers, stocks SUs, nismo close tranny, 336 rearend, n36 intakes, 1mm hks gasket, car revved to 10K fine, made 200 +- 5 HP at the wheels on the dyno. if i had the 44 mikuni setup im sure id get a few more ponies....to bad i sold my head and headers and carbs, all i have left is the block and just got a set of 44 mikunis from my 73 skyline to put on my car but may sell my setup soon. =(
  12. yay i found the VIN hehehe was a lil faded but its there, i knew i had a KGC110 not the KPG but i can dream right? hehe plus the interior door panels have 2000 GT-X emblems inside. if i had the s20 motor i would have a KPG, heheh but atleast i have the other stuff, gtr flares, rear wing, hakoska aka "box" fender mirrors, and gtr front grill and tail light panel. yup i have the "Ken Mary" but my fren paul has the "Box" and oh man that thing is so cool!!!! he has the 4 door hakoska, next time imma ask to drive it, cuz after sittin in it i wanna take it for a spin. thanks mike
  13. yea i bought the car from my friend who now owns a 71 hakoska "box" he got the 4 door. our fren chuck has the 71 2 door hakoska. yea it used to be turbocharged but two pistons went dead so my fren rebuilt the motor and traded the turbo setup for some 14x9 watanabe wheels. well long story short i still have my turbo stuff and getting ready to put it n. unfortunately the car has no VIN numbers at all so im going to have to figure out how im going to register it. the car i got is a 2000 GT-X model there were only a handful of GT-Rs made but i do have everything to make the GTX look like a GTR, with the original GTR flares, GTR wing, and GTR fender mirrors, and GTR grill. hopefully i can get the car going soon and registered so i can bring it to MSA this year. thanks for your guys support mike
  14. heres a link to the website http://www.geocities.com/coolin550/kpgc110.html now let me see who can ID the car...hehe its a 73 theres triple 44 mikunis in the car now but thats going out and heres comes the turbo....yay ! ill keep you guys up on progress if you cant figure out what car it is, ill post later what it is...hehe its a nissan! take care all mike
  15. i run 15x10 watanabes rear and 8.5 fronts. front tires are 195-50 and the rear 225-50, has 4.5in back spacing no rubbing so far since i run the stretch tires. the rear wheels actually go a bit past the flare but doesnt hit,i might sell my fronts to get a different offset to push the wheel out more. heres a link to some pictures of the car http://www.geocities.com/coolin550/Oldschool_Racers.html http://www.geocities.com/coolin550/flare7.html mike
