  4. I've got a set too here in San Diego. I have the entire strut tube and control arms. Let me know. I'm thinking about 100 plus shipping for every thing. I can serperate too, figure 60 plus shipping for both contol arms.
  5. Just looking for some zg flares let me know what you have and how much you want for a set. Pics are helpful too. Looking forward to see what's out there, feel free to pm me.
  6. I've got a set in san diego with the manifold. You can have'em for $200 shipped, or pick them up for $150.
  7. I've got a stock dizzy and anything else you might want off a 73 engine. Let me know, I'm in San Diego.
  8. That "M" shaped spring is actually an anti-rattle spring. It helps the brakes stay a little quieter. I've done brakes on the the Toyota trucks, and sometimes they're there sometimes they're not. You can get away with not having them on. The "M" spring goes over the top pin with the bottom peak of the "M" facing out towards the caliper. When the caliper goes on it applies tension onto the spring. The two ends of the spring go into the holes of the brake pads. Hope this helps, and I hope my discription isn't to vague.
  9. Call me about your cars. I am in South San Diego/Imperial Beach. I want to see what you got. 619-788-8976. I am at work so call me sometime after 4. My name is David

  10. I have a 71 s30. It has an l28 with e88 head, later 280zx 5 speed, not the t-5, brand new centerforce clutch. It has rust issues. Needs a battery, and a slave cylinder. I have the cylinder. I also have a pertonix igniter, that I haven't installed. Car runs great, and speedy. email me if your interested, or if anyone in san diego is interested. It has a damaged hood, and driver side fender, from pushing it into another car. I can explain. I'm thinking $1300, but I'm open to anything.

  12. c'mon it's far from being in pics, but I'll get some soon. So quick backround. I picked up the car last week with no brake lights and blinkers working, no heater/cooling fan and some door alignment issues. All this oh yeah and some intake/exhaust manifold bolts missing(I'll fix the bolts tomorrow). Hopefully I luck out and the engine stiops missing at idle. I've got a close ratio 280zx tranny (waiting on my centerforce clutch to come in). And I just got off the phone with a guy who has a 3.90 r200 diff for me to pick up tomorrow. So I have to ask what now. I've got the cancer to deal with. And of course I'm gonna take a look at the brakes. The question is THE ENGINE, what to do with it. Someone out there please help. By the way, it feels like a beast when I get on it. I had a 73 240 w/l28 and I think a N42. I don't remember it pulling this hard. Thoughts?
  13. Well I'm re-entering the Z world, and I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for this engine setup. f54 flat top and e88. I've heard about the higher compression. I'm running the su carbs and stock ignition (which I will replace the later). I'm looking to make this my little toy w/ some autocross time. So any recommendations or experiences (ie cams, ignitions, fuel system, head work). I guess the list can go on. skys is the limit until we talk about cost right?
