I like the look round lights I just don't want it to look like a corvette and don't want it to be riced out. and I like the look of a 70's skyline but not going to cut one up for the tail lights. I think it could work but it will be a lot of work. The car is getting a rb26 and a s13 dash I think it might tie it all together. thanks for all the input good and bad I like the idea of getting red of the chrome

I am thinking about custom fitting these to my 240 what are your thoughts. I think it would be a sexy tail light swap. I think they have a modern look of the 70's skyline tail lights.

I just found a local company that rents co2 (dry ice) blasters not sure on the price yet but may be worth renting and doing myself. I was thinking of using plastic media.

Yea I know but I think I can use the one center console I have to size everything up until I find a JDM console for a good price I found one on ebay that was carbon fiber but it was $300 or $400 looked nice in pic but don't know it my not look as nice in person. I think it would be hard to customize where the parking brake goes because the angle at the front of the arm rest but maybe not.

I love the z dash but I like the simple look of the s13 dash I want a to put a double din head unit in easer to do with the s13 dash. I just bought my s13 dash and center console for $15 so if I don' like it all I have in it is my time and $15 I will take some pics show progress let you know how much work it is do do this swap I don't think it is worth $2500

I have a 73' 240 that was tan just pulled everything off I am changing to black I will look at what I have that is nice and send you pics I will get rid of cheap don't need and I don't have room to store parts that someone else can use. Let me know if interested.

I am starting to think about the rb30det block and rb25det head what about the rb26dett head will it bolt up or is there a lot of mods I have heard the the rb30det block is the strongest but from what I can tell the rb26dett head is the best any thoughts thanks

I have been looking for a R34 N1 RB26DETT online for my 73 240. No luck. Anyone know of any websites or any one that has one? I can find R32 RB26DETT's but nothing newer.

Ya sand blasting heats up the panels and warps them. Plastic media dose not do that and soda blasting is bad if you don't get it all off it will cause the paint to peal and it does not happen right away. This happen mostly in spots that are hard to get to. I hope this does not happen to any of you that went the soda blasting route. This is what I was told buy a company called ProStrip and they do great work. They wont do soda blasting. My car was Z barted in and out and the price I was quoted was blasting in 3 levels paint bondo and tar then any rust. I all ready own a blaster so all I would need to buy is the media.

Hey does anyone know if it is realistic to media blast my car with plastic media myself? And if so can you use any blasting gun to do so? About how much media would it take to strip my car? This will cost $1500 have the pro's do it and that's money that could go to other things.

I have been thinking of doing a carbon fiber dash for my 240z. Carbon fiber is sexy just don't want to over do it. I think it would be a lot of work but possible worth it.
