  1. bump.. Id also be interested in a clean 510 or 610...preferably swapped.
  2. Id also be interested in a very clean lower year (1970-75) z, or a built/ heavily modified 240Z...
  3. First off Im in So-Cal, Los Angeles area to start... I am looking for a V8 Pre-Smog Z, preferably LS1 240Z to trade for my 2003 Kawasaki Zx12r. This is the bike that beat the Suzuki Hayabusa in all the magazine tests and looks far better.. Bike runs great, is super easy to ride on the street and freeways, very comfortable, great in the canyons, can get 50 mpg, has 190 horsepower and will do almost 200 mph, though Ive never taken it there.. Heres one of the many articles that lays out all the specs on this amazing bike. http://www.totalmotorcycle.com/photos/2003models/2003models-Kawasaki-NinjaZX-12R.htm Heres another website which has all the magazine comparisons between the Hayabusa and the Zx12r... http://www.angelfire.com/linux/ldrpg/ Theres are a few pics of my bike attached. Let me know if you are interested.
  4. I have a clean title, straight, no rust 1973 Datsun 240z shell with a welded in 4 point roll bar for sell. Located in West Covina, Ca.. Let me know if you're interested.
  5. While the 1990-93 Miata rear had a viscous LSD option, the 1994+ Miata's could have been ordered, based on package, with the superior Torsen type LSD. A poor mans alternative to the Torsen is a clutch type LSD from the '84-88 NA RX-7. They will also bolt into the later 1994+ Miata housing since they are the same diff type (the 1989-91 RX-7 LSD will also fit but it is a viscous type, the earlier RX-7's had smaller axle shafts and won't fit the halfshafts). The OEM RX-7 clutch type LSD does have replaceable friction plates and is rebuildable.. Check out Solomiata.com for more info on the Rx7 to miata rear end interchangeabiliy. I really hope to see you add the miata full suspension to the 240z. I have considered this option myself, but havent bit the bullet and started cutting yet. Good luck with your build.
  6. I used to work at Speedomotive and we supplied the dyno for the 2008 Castrol Syntec Top Shop Challenge and I watched AMS tune their 2.0 4G63 to 1035 horsepower at 41 psi on the stock block (still have the dyno sheet). Plus to top it all off they did it on VP Motorsport 100(MS100), 100 octane unleaded fuel.... Anyone who says the 4G63 isn't a good motor is completely clueless...
  7. I have a Brand New Tec3 purple box Stand Alone complete with New Harness, DFU, Trigger Wheel, Mag, and all sensors, etc(everything needed) that I dont really have a use for and was planning on selling, however, I spoke with a few members on different forums who have told me that the TEC3 EMS is old technology and outdated. Is this true? Do you think asking $1500 for the complete Tec3 with everything is way too high? Any opinions or info is greatly appreciated. Thanks guys.
