  1. I'd also definitly recommend some sort of ventilation that can move air around. I'd definitly make sure to put up nice insulation in the garage too. A/C is going to be expensive though because it's going to have to constantly be fighting the terrible insulation factor of the garage door, and that when you open up the door, a ton of heat will come rushing in.

Not too expensive if you insulate the hell out of the garage during the build

That is what I'm thinking as well, insulation part might cost some serious $$$ I will talk to my builder and see whats up. But I kind of lean toward the ECO/Fans system style that you had mentioned, maybe it worth the research. Back to the drawing board :) Thx again!

  2. Thank you so much guys, questions!

    1) Should I install AC in my garage? I lived in Houston, Texas and during Summer, it is killer here. Anybody have AC garage? How was it? If AC is too expensive, which I think it is. I'm thinking about install bunch of fans for ventilation.

    2) Should I do Epoxy Paint floor or Race Deck? This is the part I'm willing to spend a bit more money for eye candy. I also wanted to know how practical they were when it comes to cleaning the floor from oil/dust.

Thanks again for all the inputs cheers!

  3. I built my rotisserie from scratch using scrap from a reclamation yard. I bought all the materials, including castors, for about 50 bucks. It looks similar to the engine stand setup you have there except my heads slide up and down the uprights so you can adjust the height of the car.

It looks like you are on the right track but you will find that when you put the weight of the car on it, the stands will want to tip inwards at both ends, putting all the weight on the inner wheels and lifting the outer wheels off the ground. This can also bend the mounting areas. You need to tie the two stands together with a long section of square tubing connecting the bottom of the stands. I would weld a piece of square tubing (about a foot long)on top of each stand, and then thread a long piece through them and bolt it up so it can take a very considerable amount of tension.

Got pic on the rear mount?

  4. Thank you for creating this thread, since I had been looking into 300zx TT LSD, the CV shaft are so hard to find and very expensive if find one, so with these info, it will help me decide what to pick and maybe I should be ok with R200 300zx N/A as well.

What do you guys about what LSD I should get? I'm planning to put 2JZ TT to my car and will be around 460 HP, street car. thanks for the input.

  6. I did use chemical stripper and let me tell you....it is AWESOME. O

Wearing a proper cloth and protection is very important Oh and just like previous poster stated that it hurts like a %^&&(# when the drop of chemical got your skin...well they ain't lying.

Being from Thailand, I used to get bitten by one of this

If you can't handle it, I dont recommended because I guaranteed, no matter how good your protective cloth that you are wearing, 1 drop gonna get into your skin...happened to me couple times and it's not pretty lol

  8. Guys,

Quick question, I had tried searches but can't seem to find an answer.

Does headlight fender extension for S130 fits S30?

    Thanks a lot.

I bought one from eBay (S130) to fit my S30 and the seller told me its the same thing, I just wanted to make sure.

Never mind, it does not fit.

  9. Thanks for the clarification.

One question, I just noticed...how do I attach the rear mount? Through the hatch? or under the body? I don't see where I could attach bolt to the rotisserie from the rear.

    hummmmmmm...

    Edited*

Ok found a picture from the member, how did he mounted like this? He drilled/weld on the bumper?
