  1. I used a mustache bar from a 280Z, not a ZX. Don
  2. I recently finished this swap on my '72 240z. The R200 mustache bar fits behind(towards the rear of the car) the 2 brackets that run vertically from the body to the lower control arm bracket. I had previously mounted my fuel pump to one of the vertical brackets. I had to move the pump when I installed the R200. There's a good picture of the rear suspension in the JTR manual that shows how the R200 is mounted. Don
  3. The speedo gears for the 200-4R are available from a GM dealer. Check out TCI's tech info site... http://www.tciauto.com/tech_info/index.htm ...lots on good info on auto trans dimensions, gear ratios, speedo gears, etc. Don
  4. Edelrock used to have the dimensions of most of their manifolds on the web. I can't find it now... I'm running a Performer RPM intake with a Performer RPM Q-jet carb(850 cfm). I use a Moroso drop-base air cleaner with a 3 inch filter. I,ve got the JTR mounts, including the spacer between the front crossmember and the frame, and everything fits well. Don
  5. Thanks, Pete. I knew someone had to have figured this out the hard way already. Don
  6. Can anyone tell me which radiator hoses will work with the '85 Camaro radiator and the JTR SBC engine mounts? I would prefer a molded hose over a flex hose. I am real anxious to fire up the engine after spending so much time and money piecing it together and installing it. Thanks, Don
