  1. Well, my headlights have never had any problems for me for the few months I've had the car. (Previous owner garaged the car for most of it's life, so he claims 93k original miles) So, last night I was heading home, I turned the Z off to pick up a friend (lights were working), turn the car back on about 5-10 minutes later, and then my headlights won't turn on? All my other lights (dash, gauges, tail lights, brake lights, turn lights. etc) except my headlights, so... after thinking about it, my first assumption was that I blew a fuse. (perhaps?) So I drove home with no headlights (I had to.. it was scary. I was more scared for the Z, then myself ) So, I dropped the Z off at my garage and tried to turn the headlights on then, still nothing. I figured I'd check it out tomorrow, since I had to go out with a few friends, and about 2-3 hours later, I come home, and I go try again, and the lights are working perfect again? Has anyone had this happen to them before? I hear the 73' Z's have bad electrical relays, but what could cause this? Bad/loose ground? It can't be a fuse can it? Does anyone have any personal experience, or suggestions? Thank you for your help, and I apologize for the long post.
  2. Hey everyone, names Jon and I'm 16 years old, I've always loved this forum (never knew why I never made an account here until now..) Well anyways, I've had my Z for only a few months now, and I've been DDing her for the most part. Completely stock at the moment, and most likely staying that way for a while. Just a few quick snapshots, nothing to fancy. (Not my house, just a random restaurant haha ) Well for the most part, the reason I bought the Z is that I have just utterly fallen in love with the car. I've worked on cars for a few years now, and something about the Z just makes me smile when I see it. (corny, but true, don't lie, you know you've looked at your Z and smiled too ) Well that's my little greetings and introduction, Hope to start getting around in this forum more often. Until then, see ya' when I see ya'
  3. I got my 240z (my first car) when I was about sixteen years old. The main reason I got it was the fact that I love cars in general, and I saw the 240z's as an ideal car to work on. Plus, I just downright love the car all in all haha. But I've been doing regular maintenance and what not, and she's been running like a champ for the passed few months I have had her.
