  1. I think they look great for a oem wheel. They resemble my wheels on my Conquest TSI, in a way... What size are they?

Yeah I would have liked to run the starion rims but they're 5 lug. These are 14x7 I did have to use a spacer in front or it wouldn't clear the caliper or the center of the spindle. I'm hoping when I put 225s on the rear it will fill out the fender a little better.

  2. Ok I bet everyone that was interested in these had probably thought that it had gotten squashed and wasn't going to happen. Well it's going to happen at least a prototype is going to happen. I have a price for the prototype but as it stands now it's limited to just myself once they are built and on the car I will take pictures and once again gauge interest in having these produce. It may take awhile for him to finish as he is in the middle of a drift car built which has to been done and tuned before the drift season starts. And this is a special project, so everyone hang in there the setup is getting underway.

  3. I just cut my front coils on my 71 haven't done the back but ran into other issues that needed to be taken care of. So I will have pics and numbers posted for the rear once I've done them.

So here are the measurements I had and ended up with I will take pics tomorrow and post them.

Front ride height when started was 26 1/4" (from center of tire on the ground to the highest point of the fender lip-just about center). After the height was 25 3/8". I did the half a coil cutting and it just wasn't enough so I opted for a full coil to get the desired drop. In total I cut 2 1/2 coils each full coil was about a .85 drop in height. I like the result for the most part however the car seems to max out on severe bumps but I'm not sure yet as I haven't hit many since the drop I will let everyone know once I've driven the car for a while.

  4. The company my friend works for only work with quality materials, if they didn't they wouldn't be as big as they are. And all of their dis-assembly, cleaning, inspection, shortening and assembly is done in house. Or sent to they're Japanese HQ....I think.

Oh I also wanted to thank everyone who has responded to this topic with postive feed back, and interest.

  5. I'm gauging interest in people that would like real coilovers for their Zcars. This would be high quality and from a single company a real coilover not a kit that you'd buy from different companies. Like most of the ones sold buy MSA, Arizona Z Cars, Beta Motorsports. Pricing has yet to be decided but interest will dictate a price. So if your interested make a list with your name, car, year, and what you do with the car.
