  7. I was amused by this "hybrid" of another sort... 4 wheel independent steering, "rear" wheel drive... it seems to have been around for a while, maybe it's been brought up here before. If so, my bad. enjoy: http://videos.streetfire.net/Player.aspx?fileid=7F70B3F8-BF22-40F7-AB0C-8533292AB744&p=0
  8. I'm just doing the pods in digital. I got the speedhut EL overlays for the speedo and tach and am now wondering if I should replace the clock with anything as it will probably look out of place.
  9. I wasn't happy with the idea of having to use "alternative" locations for gauges, so I got some digital gauges and chopped them up then doubled them up in the original gauge housing. Here's half the finished task (water temp and oil pressure done), voltage and fuel level are nearly done. Pics of them off and on. what do you think?
  10. I got my mounts from Rock Auto. They're "Anchor part #2282".. I'm curious if the part number match Autozone's if they're the same part. Anyway, pennypinchers come forth: $2.71 a piece. Damn I love those guys, it's like autozone, but rediculously cheaper. (www.rockauto.com) Recommended to me when reading other threads.
  11. I was thinking of casting some of these... or trying my hand at it. Grabbed some '69 camaro emblems and soon, one of my roommates 280z emblems (promised him a set of the final product if it works out). here's some pics. + + (the z only) = without the z on it... I've got some scrap aluminum cubes laying around. I figure I should be able to melt the chunks and cast up some fender emblems. Any comments?
