  1. Need a new tailhousing for a 81-83 zx 5 speed, mine is messed up. I'm heading up to San Luis Obispo this weekend so if you are between San Diego and there just shoot me a offer in this thread and we can work out a deal. Or if you are willing to ship i love paypal
  2. them sending it to Tennessee would make sense if that was the address on my paypal, but its not, i dont even know anyone in Tennessee. they have consistently blown me off, and they have ignored ebay's attempts to spark the investigation in to getting me my wheels. I'm really just annoyed at the lack of profesional behavior from them in dealing with me, i wouldn't be mad had they just said "oops, we'll fix it", but they have just ignored me, i've been attempting to contact them for over a week now. and no i havn't been bashing them all over the internet, just here to vent. Im calling them tomorrow when they are open, hopefully they help me out, if not then im still a bit mad.
  3. just found there website today after they closed, so i have there number, ill be calling them monday, but its just ridiculous that they treat there customers with such utter disregard.
  4. They have easily the worst business practices ever. First they didn't give me any tracking numbers until I demanded them 3 full days after I bought my grid offroads, then after i get tracking numbers they tell me they are sending my wheels to Ashland Tennessee, which wouldn't be a problem if I actually lived there:fmad:. Now I've sent them three messages through ebay, they have yet to respond to me to talk about what the hell is up with my wheels, I actually had to open a case through ebay to try and get them to send me either my money or my wheels. TLDR, they have crappy customer service and sent my wheels to Tennessee when i live in California.
  5. Tragically I don't have any pictures of the car as it arrived but im sure you can imagine. progress to date: removed the interior, in all its rotted ugly glory. removed the barely running L24 and all associated components. cut out the floors and are replacing them with new motorsport auto ones. got 4x4 vented front brakes and s13 rears. Basically just pulling the car apart and removing the old crap until I run out of old stuff to take out, Im sure most of you know how that is. Overall $600 well spent the car up on stands with no suspension the beautiful dented ugly as crap frame rails (at least they aren t rusty) rusty firewall, rest of the floors and under floor rails are just like this, but soon to be replaced a better picture of that huge dent in the engine bay rail R230 out of a 300zxTT some weird kanji from under the dash (if anyone knows what this is, enlighten me please) that pretty much sums it up for now, be back soon with more content oh and do you guys think that engine bay rail damage is significant enough to warrant replacement?
  6. ^^ I would go for the RB-R they get fatter lips the lower offset you go, just like most banana wheels. The Grids just like the te37's they are imitating get more concave.
  7. 16x8+10's are fine in the rear but in the front, you will need a spacer, at least 5mm, possibly 10, depending on your fitments you want. I personally have the 16x8 rota Grids like the orange Z ^ up there has, and I'm running them with 25mm spacers to fill up my ZG flares Im getting.
  8. I love it, that fuel cell is so impossibly awesome. I wouldn't have cut my rear valance off but hey, looks cool as hell anyway.
  9. There are some really beautiful Z's in here, keep me inspired guys:mrgreen:
  10. From what ive seen, theyre quite long, im pretty sure they still had plenty of length in the head, but i will double check.
  11. Okay cool, Thats what I was going to run, i just wanted to get an opinion first, as the Short pads make it much more centered than the tall, Thanks for the response.
  12. pick your favorite left or right This is with the Schneiders Stage 4 cam, (Right Rocker) We put it in with the provided lash pads (quite tall) and that provided us with little to no lash when the rocker "posts" were completely Screwed down, and IMHO the wipe pattern seems to outboard, (Left Rocker) This was with the shorter Lash pads that came with the motor, With them the Rocker posts had do be screwed out about 1/2 an inch, and the swipe pattern is a little bit more inboard than centered, and Honestly, is a Much better Swipe pattern. Should we just run with the short Lash pads and leave it be, run with the tall ones and leave it be, or run with the short ones and shim them to be centered?
  13. well my story is very simple. i picked up the Z from my friend for 700 bucks, as a not quite as rusty as i expected shell, Im 19 going on 20 in a month, and needed an easier project to replace my 31 ford i was building. he wanted a running turnkey Z to drive, instead he bought a crappy roller for 3k and i profited from his stupidity, i still feel like a jerk though.
  14. thanks, i've got to get down to the machine shop anyway to get my header flange machined flat anyway so, guess i have even more motivation now, and i have to thank nico club for saying 66.06 guess they were misinformed.
  15. i got some nissan spacers (66.06 hub bore) and was under the impression that 240z's have the same bore. Yet the spacers wont fit on the front or rear hubs, they will not seat. I am wondering if perhaps these might need some machining to fit my hubs, or if it may just be corrosion on the hubs that needs to be cleaned off? Help please.
