ok i have a 1983 280zx non turbo and when you first start it up it runs fine but after it warms up it begins acting up. while driving the tach drops to zero and rolls until clutch engages (its a manuel) and roll starts itself while still driving down the road or sometimes won't restart at all. i have to just pull over and after about 30 min. of sitting there it will start again and run fine until it warms up once again. we have replaced the plugs, fuel filter, coil, distributor cap and rotor button. please help i need to get it running once again.

my father is a mechanic and we can do all the work short of borimg the block. so price of all the parts is my main concern

3.1 liter is just what the mechanic told me he would suggest doing. as far as horsepower i was wanting atleast 350. my budget isnt really big only bout $3000.

when its all said and done i want it to be a 3.1 liter turbo. so im gonna need some kind of bigger pistons, larger fuel pump, injectors, because i'm also wanting to throw a larger turbo on it too.

ok i recently bought an l28et and had it sent to a shop to be rebuilt. piston 4 was cracked and scorched the block so it has to be bored now. this was unexpected and kind of at a loss as of what to do and what i will need now? what all will need to be replaced? thanks for any help.

we've checked the fuses and we used a volt meter and it was reading lower than the other side. We checked the ground wire by making a new one and that didn't help at all.

Ok I have an 83 280zx and the drivers side headlight is dim. I bought a new bulb and that didnt work so I checked the grounding wire and thats not it either. So I don't know what the problem is. Any body have the know how to fix it? Thank you

ok i have an na 83 280zx and im buying an l28et for a engine swap but im a little confused about what all i will also need to get to swap it in? can someone give me a complete list of everything ill need to buy. my dad and i are also rebuilding it before we swap it in. thank you
