This all started several years ago when I decided I wanted to get back into a Z. I went threw 3 Z's looking for one with minimal rust, the 4th was the charm. At this point I didn't even know about HPDE's so I started building a street car. I bought a 3.0 street motor from Rebello and did the usual mods like new urethane bushings, 4 piston calipers, drums to disk, performance struts and springs… I ran it on the street like this for about 6-8 months.
