Let me explain that title up there. The other day I was returning a 328i to a dealership after a road test (I do auto reviews) and saw that my sneakers had left a terrible residue of gravel dirt and Gawd knows what else in the floor. So I decided I'd go buy a pair of decent driving shoes just for the tests (and for when the Z's up and running!). I did a Google search and found THESE. http://www.ompracing-usa.com/detail.html?productcode=IC/782 Problem is, those suckers are $320. But I liked the vintage look, and thought they'd go well with a suit I have. Why not kill two birds with one stone, right? I did more looking and found some Sparco vintage style ones, but they were also expensive. I like the brown leather Puma Future Cats, but they all have damned Ferrari logos on them. I don't own a Ferrari (evidenced by the fact that I won't spend $300 on shoes), and the only way I'd look dumber in them is if I did own one. Sparco: http://www.rallymerchandise.eu/product-eng-6040-Sparco-VINTAGE-CLASSIC-Racing-Shoes-with-FIA-homologation-.html Puma: http://www.wikipuma.com/proDetail/?1081-Future-Cat-GT-Ferrari-brown.html Anyone know of any other brown leather driving shoes in the style of those OMPs? I like the mid-tops and sharp style, just not the price tag. Chuck Taylors make great cheap driving shoes, but I can't stand them otherwise. Alternatively, what do you drive in? -Trev
