The sleeves aren't usable and will need to be removed - SOLD I don't know why but some of the pictures are refusing to be uploaded in the correct orientation. Sorry about that. Thanks
miky360 posted a topic in Parts WantedHello, before purchasing brand new I was wondering if anybody had a set of adjustable rear control arms for a S30? Preferably Techno Toy tunning but anything works really. Must be able to ship to Toronto, Canada. Any useable condition, don't care about scratches or worn out paint. PM would be best. Thanks guys!
G-E posted a topic in Vendor's ForumFits all years/models '84-'89 This is available as a DIY conversion for the front control arms, it replaces the bushing, either because they are old and worn, or because you want a more positive feel of a tighter front end while steering or braking. The supplied rodends are nylon-kevlar injected race cromoly, which will take all the abuse, without any maintenance. The included double adjuster has opposing threads inside and outside, so unscrewing it will lengthen the control arm, tightening it will shorten the control arm. The jam nut supplied locks the rodend to the adjuster, while the jam screw locks the adjuster to the welded receiver block. The jam screw is accessible from underneath the control arm. Length adjustment of the control arm with the recommended installation position of the receiver block will be approximately 1/2" longer to 1/2" shorter than stock. The weight difference with a converted arm is less than 150 grams. Price: $190USD+shipping as a DIY kit, or $250USD with a core to be welded... Installation, a straight cut, and weld: Completed conversion: Comparisons: PS. it would help if I didn't forget to remove the extra weight of the nut PPS. this may work with other similar sized control arms, PM me and I can provide details on measurements
Hey everyone, I'm getting out of Datsuns and I am looking to sell off some of the neat things I collected over the years. All prices are negotiable (to a certain degree), shipping + paypal are extra. I have a lot more pictures of everything and will gladly e-mail them to you upon request. So without further ado... 1. Ported and modded P79 head. The head was first hot tanked and sandblasted, then machined. Professional porting done by SRPD racing in NY, brand new valve guides and stainless swirl polished valves. All of the valve seats have been cut and valves back-cut and lapped to match. I also have brand new high performance valve springs and retainers as well as resurfaced rockers. The head has been shaved .080 and I have a set of .080 cam tower spacers to match. For everything (head, valves, rockers, cam towers, cam tower spacers, and valve springs) I am looking to get $1200 2. Weber DCOE42 carburetors on a Cannon intake manifold. The carburetors were rebuilt using OEM Weber parts and gaskets. The manifold has been blasted and refinished, and the linkage disassembled, cleaned, lubricated and readjusted. $1300 3. Camshaft - ground by Norris in California, supposed to be a hot-street cam good for around 7000 RPM. I can get complete specs upon request. $150 4. Front LCA's - control arms have been blasted and refinished with POR15, also have brand new energy suspension polyurethane bushings installed $150 5. Rear LCA's - same as front control arms; blasted, refinished, new poly bushings. $150 6. Mustache bar - blasted and refinished in POR15, new poly bushings installed. $150 I just want to reiterate that everything for sale here is brand new and has never been installed, and in some cases never been out of the box. Keep in mind the prices are negotiable so if you think I'm an a**hole who wants too much, shoot me an offer. Everything is located in Niagara Falls, ON canada for any of you local folks out there. Please PM me with any inquiries.
