cygnusx1 Posted June 22, 2011 Share Posted June 22, 2011 (edited) When you power up the MSII, it runs the fuel pump for about 2 seconds. It always did until today. All of a sudden, after messing with TunerStudioMS, and a really strange attempt at VE Analyze, which screwed up my VE tables royally, the fuel pump prime timer changed, and became erratic. When I turn on the power, the pump now runs for 5 -10 seconds, randomly, each time I power up. I don't even know if that timer is adjustable? What would cause it to change all of a sudden? Did my firmware get compromised again or did something change in my wiring somewhere? I don't like things that run inconsistently and unpredictably. Especially something like an engine management system! My old crappy laptop threw some kind of flash error up at me, saying that the system had slowed down due to some flash application while I was VE Analyzing. Maybe the laptop is chewing up the MSII?
