akumazedex
Still looking for an audible warning box for the s130, if anyone knows where I can get one or has any contacts in japan that I can get a hold of it would be much appreciated. I know it's an odd part to look for but any help would be great. Regards.
kiwi303
Do you have the part code stenciled on it? I can have a look through my shell and see if it's still there. I hate those sort of nuisance nagging nanny gadgets so if there's one still bolted up I'd be happy to sell it.
akumazedex
You have a Japanese shell? It's located in the spare tire compartment, mounted above/on the wheel arch. I'm not sure the US numbers would cross ove to the Japanese
Heathhh
I wanna know how much you'd sell that for too. I wanna get one of those audible warning devices, especially a japanese one. That would just be great fun IMO to hear that ramble. I'd learn japanese too at the same time. Heck now I want that. hook me up to. kiwi303
I have a JDM Fairlady shell, First registered in Japan in '78 (presumably as a '79 model), first registered in NZ as a used import in '87. That is according to the original NZ title. HGS130-003806 I'll have a look next time I'm down the back of the farm where I have it stashed in the hayshed. Sorry Heathhh, only the one shell so if it's there, Battledat has first dibs, but I'll ask on a NZ Z forum and see if the Kapiti packrat has any, plenty of JDM imports here in NZ. Heathhh
Ok I'm second in line then lol. I wonder if the jap one would actually work though with the states model 280zx. I don't see why not, but it could be wired differently, or have different connecting prongs etc.

kiwi303
Right, had a look through the shell and there is no box in that location. Also the 280ZX Hynes manual makes no mention of it and all the boxes I can locate are accounted for in the diagrams. Mine may be a base model and the box only shows up on the higher end spec levels? I'll pop a question up on the zclub site
akumazedex
Hmm.. I'm not too certain which ones came with the audible box. I'm pretty sure the later 280zx's all came with them 81-83 I think. Let me know if you run across one.

Bates_
You should try looking for a JDM Z31 bitching betty. I know they came in the 200ZRs and most of the JDM Z31 models.
akumazedex
I'm pretty sure that the z31's are not interchangeable with the s130. Similar but not the same. Thanks tho.
