L28 with all kinds of problems

Just to start with, i have searched on every different topic i could come up with, none with the exactly same problems.

My engine is a kind of On/Off type of engine, sometimes it will work on 80%(never 100%) and sometimes it won't work at all.

It seems that maybe some sensors are broken, because im getting the right psi in fuel, with a whole new fuel system(pump, injectors, wires, regulator etc.)

I pulled the wire to the TPS and it was all green inside, maybe bad contact?

I can hold my throttle and it can rev to about 4000 and suddenly die, with a hard time starting it again.

Or i can start it, rev it fine and pull it to about 6000.

Have read BRAAP's guide, the EFI bible ++ haven't gotten any answers.

Please someone help, have tried for 2 years to get the car running on 100% power.

Year of car and engine, and any modifications needed.

Download the FSM for your year and go through the Engine Fuel section. It will describe how to test the TPS to see if it's working right. Green in your TPS is probably bad.

Your description of revving, dying and hard starting sounds ignition module related. But more details about temperature, how long you're holding at 4000 and what you mean by "hard time starting" would give more clues. Actual numbers for fuel pressure and resistance at the sensors would help also.

Also, describe what you mean by 80% power. Full throttle, half-throttle, etc. 80% of what?

Everyone loves a puzzle but you have to give some good clues.

Buy a new TPS, I had a similar problem with my 1977 and i installed a new TPS and she ran much better, if I were you I would buy an new harness as well(green wire is like rust for copper and no one likes rust in their Z), I think you can get them on ebay not 100% sure though,or replace all FI wiring then you wont have to worry about bad connections and shorts in your wiring, just be sure to use die electric grease.... not too much though just a thin layer does plenty.

It's a 1977 280z with 200c injectors, Crane Cams PS40 coil, K&N air filter in box, 8mm sparkplug wires, Walbro GSL932.

Could also be interresting to know it's a California model.

The temperature of when im revving can be everything, cold, mild and warm. It's still the same.

I'm holding at 4000 for maybe 3-4 seconds and then the car dies, then if i'm trying to start it again i try to crank it one time without a spark, then the second time it starts, but revs up very slowly and suddenly kicks in.

Fuel pressure is a place between 32-33psi, haven't gotten any measurements of the sensors.

What i mean about 80% power is by full throttle, half throttle seems to be just cruising and it seems kind off fine there, but not quite.
