stwrangler
I tried the search and didnt find anything helpful. this a 78 280Z, SBC , carburated.. I used the stock wire to run a holley fuel pump. Got home turned the car off and the fuel pump stayed on. I have it down to this, if I unhook the charge wire from the alternator the pump turns off ( all other wires are unhooked from the alternator ), if I hook the charge wire straight to the battery the pump come on. any ideas ? David GArcia
Check your wiring. You must have wired in the fuel pump to run at all time. If you just want to add a kill switch and turn it on manually that is also an option. I suggest you wire it into a hot when engine on wire. stwrangler
its been good for 2 years, this is the secound motor in this car.Im hoping to find out what the problem is, if for no other reason then to know what broke. I'll most likly wire it to come on with my primary fan.
