egzlilgituarboy9
Doing a V8 swap and was wondering if anyone has reinforced the crossmember. Cant seem to find any topics on it or is it just not needed?

surpip
I was thinking about this as well but multiple launches on 440 HP with my 383 and no sighns of bending fatigue ect. Id say unless your pushing over 500HP (I'm shure you could do more) leaving the X-member stock is fine.
johnc
No need to reinforce the crossmember. I box the engine mounting bracket that's welded to the crossmember.
