maybemark
I tore my turbo engine apart, to find out my head is in good shape, i had it cleaned up at the machine shop, now i found out the my turbo block, that the pistons are bad, and my thrust on my crankshaft is bad. I have a working NA engine, and i was wondering if i can put my turbo head on the NA block? Does anyone know what my compression would be by doing this? Or does anyone else have any suggestins for me? thanks mark
78zstyle
If you can get dished pistons, your compression would remain the same. However if you have flat tops, I believe the compression is 8.4-9 or something like that.. still safe on low psi boost.
