Ghettodeffender Posted February 16, 2012 Share Posted February 16, 2012 Hi, so my Speedometer and rpm guage just stopped working out the blue, just turned on the car and they stopped working. my turn signals no longer work either. is it possible this could be fuse related, because i couldnt find a fuse for these things in the fuse box Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Zero83 Posted February 25, 2012 Share Posted February 25, 2012 Yes and no. Its probably a blown fuse but possible that its a loose ground. Go through. Your fuse box check all fuses. And clean all contact Points with contact Cleaner. If that dosent help start checking for loose or damaged wires. Also inspect your blinkers while your at it they could possibly be shorting out. z240 Posted February 25, 2012 Share Posted February 25, 2012 Since you have an S30 which has a mechanical cable driven speedometer, I can't imagine how it quit and be related to the tach which also quit unless you have an aftermarket electrically driven speedo in there. If thats the case, then the wiring for it is all custom and you'll have to dig in to that wiring to solve the problem. Its been a week, made any progress?
