P79 head on P30 block boost setup

I'm gathering the last few parts needed to complete a turbo setup, some of which was leftovers from previous turbo cars.

My question is with a P79 head on a P30 block will their be any problems? I searched and could only find the compression should be somewhere between 6-7:1 and only 1 person said there might be clearance issues with no responses.

I know the P30 block is solid and in good shape overall. I plan to "test" on this block and get all the little problems / bugs out of the car and over time grab a n42/f54 to rebuild for a 400~ to the wheels car.

Only aiming for a low boost setup maybe 200-250 to the wheels max. Would there be any problems running this? I am aware getting a 2.8 block is optimal, but that will come in the future no doubt.

There is a user here who did exactly what you describe. His megasquirt tune is actually in the archives here...along with a complete description of how he did it. He's from AZ and had a blue car with a dent in the door, but I can't actually remember his username off the top of my head.

I think your referring to X64v? I came across his posts (which I have saved that MS thread for info) stating he had a E88 head on the L24 block, and then went to a stock turbo bottom end with the p79.
