Guest Anonymous
If I put a v8 in my Z will I have to strengthen the frame with about 300 lbs of torque from the engine. And one more question was there a sunroof option on the 75 280z. Mine has a sunroof and the guy I bought it off of said that it was completely original but I can't find any seel kits with the sunroof included. I like it there and everything but I was just curious if it could be some rare option or something.
BLKMGK
Yeah, strengthening the frame is probably a good idea or over time it'll twist. Sunroof won't help that either. Dunno if that was a factory option but I'm betting not - I believe T-tops were. Likely installed at the dealer as an add-on option.... Guest Anonymous
Do you know a good site that would show the right places to strengthen it. I remember I got a mustang book one time that showed me all the right places I needed to strenghthen my mustang.
DavyZ
I would go to Pete Paraska's site and look at what he did to strengthen his chassis. http://members.home.net/pparaska/index.htm Also, a sunroof was never factory in the Z...dealer add on, maybe, but never factory. Mikelly
T-Tops weren't an option either. T-tops came into play with the ZX models only. I recommend atleast running Sub-Frame connectors and strut bars. Mike
