240z72
I just got this car going well. It had some bad timing issues and electrical stuff. I got it running well then about 10 mins after running it it started making this noise. you can hear it from the cab. It is loudest on the passenger motor bay. I included a youtube link. Sound is not the best but you should be able to hear it. it changes as i rev it up a bit. Take a look and tell me what you think. Thank you. its like a ticking hissing noise. dexter72
You may be able to narrow down where the noise or noises are coming from. Place your ear on the handle end of a long screw driver and place the other end along the engine, alternator outer case, and trans case. While the engine is running. Check for a blown headgasket since you said the engine had timing issues. Warped exhaust manifold causing an exhaust leak.
