900ss
Don't know if these exist hence the question Anyone know if there's a rear rollbar drop bracket kit for a 260/280z that allows the rollbar to be spaced away from the propshaft/body more? Reason being with a larger Skyline GTST R230? diff flange on the R200 diff the prop UJ hits the rollbar Anyone else had the problem ? RebekahsZ
Yes, had same problem. Made spacers with wood.

RebekahsZ
More like a Mulligan, since I have to do everything twice. Besides, my DBW throttle pedal spacer is wood too. Rust, termites, what's the difference! It takes me 15 minutes to make a block out of wood; it takes me all day to make a block out of metal. In the end, it is just a block. scott
My 1973 240Z has the same kind of rear sway bar mount as your car. When I installed a V8, I had to change the pinion angle of the differential and when I changed it, it hit the sway bar. I fabricated some aluminum spacers and a small extension bracket so that I could lower the sway bar and still use the existing bracket mounted on the body and the clamping bracket. The sketch below describes the fix and also included are some pictures.
