Can I install an after market A/C in a 240Z

I am interested in installing an aftermarket A/C in a 240Z. How much trouble, how much cost and where to buy ? Will it use the original ducts and switches ?

Man, we need an FAQ. I was about to just respond "look in old posts", but finding it was not easy. I KNEW there was a thread on this, but I ended up having to search on " AC " (a space before and after AC) to narrow it down enough to be able to find it. Anyway,

you can try motorsport but very expensive but i know they have a r134 kit.new type compressors dont take as much hp to turn.on some cars having the windows down creates more drag than the hp draw from ac.my factory ac still works in my 77.also try a company called vintage air-they make kits for street rods and old muscle cars.if you have a pick&pull maybe you could throw something together from 280 z.
