andrewbiskup
I am looking at buying a barbed fuel rail from Cold Fusion CNC, but from all the Z car owners Ive talked to at shows who have new fuel rails, ALL have said it was a pain and difficult. What steps and/or precautions do I need to take when I hook this up to my intake manifold? How do I know that fuel is being delivered should the engine not start up? The link for the fuel rail is http://coldfusioncnc.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=96&Itemid=178 and is for stock fuel injectors for 280zx engines. (( I have a '79 280zx with an '83 engine and intake.)
SleeperZ
That sort of rail is a piece of cake to install. All you need to consider is where to mount your pressure regulator, as that must be relocated.
