winstonusmc
I am adding twin turbo to my VQ35DE in my G35, yeah its not a Z I know. I bought a stock set of VG turbo manifolds to bolt on as they bolt on. I looked at them and noticed they seem quite restrictive compared to RB26 manifolds. What is the limitations of the stock manifolds and would bolting a set of uprated turbos to them like a set of GT25R be good for 450whp. I am sure aftermarket headers would be good, but I am trying to build a base setup for now and upgrade later.
Midnitz
VG Turbo manifolds can be ported to increase flow capacity. Extrude Hone also does a good job opening the internal volume up and leaving a polished smooth finish. I have seen people with stock VG30DETTs pushing over 500hp to the rear wheels on stock turbos.
