240zBoy
So ever since the swap I installed a shifter boot from some random truck I snagged at the junkyard but it doesn't mount quite to my perfection and lets a good amount of fumes in. I had to slightly alter the shifter hole for the t-5 transmission and was wondering what some of you have done or a link to a shifter boot that worked well. I would like to continue to use the console so keep that in mind.
Miles
I filled in about half of the shifter hole in the console with matching black plastic and used a cut down 240Z boot attached with the stock clips on the backside. I also used the stock T5 shifter. Trans tunnel cover seals out fumes. Be aware that brake and fuel lines run on the right inside of the tunnel when drilling or installing screws.
